@@homemerce looking at the instructions, doesn’t really show how to cut the corners … which angles etc on the mitre saw. Going forward I’ve just ordered external internal cuts from you guys. Wasted so much product trying to work it out.

Copper is really effective against moss, lichens and algae. This is thanks to the CU 2+ ions, which the copper releases over time. @@homemerce I understand that copper is effective, but how does applying the copper tape prevent build-up on roofs? Is it just spot treatment? I dont see how this works to protect the whole roof surface with such a small surface area of copper

Hi @masteraus66 As mentioned in the video, the copper tape works with a physical reaction. Erosion of the protective coating occurs due to chemical reactions and thermal movement of the metal sheet. During these processes, copper salts (copper carbonate, copper sulfate, and copper chloride) are washed away by rain and settle on the elements below the copper line. The salts provide incredibly good protection against mosses and other lichens. This process is 100% natural and environmentally friendly. Every time it rains, the roof is coated with a layer of alkaline copper salts, so that it will serve you for longer. Feel free to let us know if you would like to receive a sample to test it!

It’s understandable that you may be anxious to keep your cornice looking immaculate - after all, these mouldings are frequently painted white, so even a modest amount of dirt can be extremely noticeable. It may therefore be well worthwhile for you to regularly - but gently - sponge down the surface of your property’s cornices with lukewarm water and a mild detergent.
