Make sure the "AUTO" button is lit up. They will fold in when you lock the car. Nothing will happen when you turn it off.

Yes, once the key fob dies there is no signal, so you could have locked it in the car with the other remote by accident.

I would order it from a lexus dealer directly. I have seen may people order ones online from different manufacturers and they don't work at all even though the disc looks identical.

hmmm....i'm not sure what you mean? Are you saying when you go into a carwash and put the car in park, the lights go off? Or did you wash your car and now your lights don't work?

@@genevieveriehl The display light on the gear shifts controls (N, P, D). Those lights went out..

@@maryroyc oh! yeah, something is wrong! maybe a fuse blew out or it got wet somehow from the car wash. Shouldn't be a big deal to fix, but you need to take it in to a dealer.

What year and model do you have? There may just be an issue with your driver door. I know there's not a setting you can put it in to make it never unlock or lock the driver's door.

Lol 🤣I feel the exact same way! Here's my work around....you have to have both SMART keys with you. Leave one in the car so it stays running for your dog. Then when you get out, lock the car with the other keyfob. It will let you lock a keyfob in the car, if you lock the car with another key fob. Does that makes sense? Ridiculous functionality at it's finest! 😂

what year and model do you have? If you have a push button start and this didn't work, you must have a newer one. You can turn it off in the menu that uses the square button on the wheel button. Flip through this menu and you will see the option to turn off your maintenance light.

@@joshuagrant1286 It should work this exact same way. Do every step that I do in this video. Make sure you are holding your trip button in at the same time you are turning your car on to accessory mode.....don't turn it all the way on in the end.

This will shoe up by pressing the button on the steering wheel that controls the little menu in your instrument panel. Just scroll through these options to get to tire pressure.

there should be a button that says "display". press it- that should bring up an options on the screen to turn it back on.

@@dragomistu What year and mdoel is it? If it is a touch screen, there should be a button under the screen that says display or settings. If he has to use a "mouse" to control the navigation, then just push the mouse button down, or one of the buttons under it.

@@genevieveriehl 2018 model Lexus RX350, he has the mouse too. He brought over to my Auto Shop. But we couldn’t back the screen on. He changed the battery. Then screen stop working. Thanks.

Just got the same, mine is black, love it replaces a 2005 rx350, Congrats to you!

For a 2005 your need to take it to a dealer to have them program it for you. I'm not sure if you would even need an appt but maybe call first anyway. It only takes a minute. They just plug something into your car to change it, but unfortunately there's no way for you to do it yourself.

Yes, depending on the year of your car, you can set that yourself. If you have a screen in your car and can access "vehicle settings", you will see a "door lock" option that will let you lock when in park- turning this feature on or off. If you don't have access to "vehicle settings" just go to a lexus dealer and have the service department switch it for you. You don't need an appt, it will only take them a minute or so to do it. They have to plug something into your car and change it.

Most of these are all-wheel drive, but depending on where you live, they may be just front wheel. It will say AWD on the car somewhere if it's all wheel.

Is it an RX? If you have a mouse, htat means you have navigation. Just select "audio" from the nav screen and it should function the same way.

Press "scan" to switch through the channels. :)

If you left the AC on when you turned off the car, then yes. It just turns it on how you left it.
