Hi! I'm Carolyn and I am a Ravenclaw Vlogger from the San Francisco East Bay Area, in the DIY Home Reno/Organization niche.
I do a ton of room transformations on my channel Basic Bahay, that I like to call Room “Transfigurations” because I’m just that crazy witch obsessed with Harry Potter.
I started my channel because I wanted to share the journey of the renovation process of my childhood home in the hopes of encouraging others to create their own dream space. My grandpa raised me in our “Bahay” or home and I eventually became his full time caretaker.
Grandpa recently passed away, leaving our home in my care and our dream of rejuvenating it in my hands. This was my way of healing, and pushing forward. I don’t have the biggest budget so we try to DIY as much as possible.
Whenever we can’t do a big project, I create a ton of videos on organization & decluttering to maintain and further our progress on our home!

Another oldie but goodie! Here is Seattle Travel Vlog Day 1 ! I lost my voice just before our first day in Seattle, WA. so Michael is doing most of the talking this time around!

Mum of 5 dogs here too. I will make chicken broth once every few weeks and add warm broth to their dry every day. The picky eaters love it and it rehydrates their dry food. It's the best idea I came across for added gut health. Thanks fro sharing your vid 🫶

I am okay, when I started my TH-cam, I was a caregiver for my grandpa. I started making videos for him to see what we were doing at home since he was in the nursing home/hospital. This was his room before, he has since passed so this became my room.

I live in California and last year there were 2 dozen snow days. So many they had to add 2 weeks to the end of the school year. Lots of snow in California. Last year over 800 inches.
