Building Aral Tanks for model train layout.
Being away for a couple of months, but I finally started building the main storage tanks that will be used in the refinery. This was quite a nice build. Had to deal with a few broken parts, but it turned out really nice.

About 4 times a year there is a Toy Fair in Cape Town. After struggling with some paint and my old airbrush, I decided to make a whole roadtrip and check out the toy fair. In this video, I start assembling and building the Vollmer Refinery. After having problems with my airbrush, I got all the parts painted. The base was looking a bit boring so I covered it in a fine gravel to give it a bit more of a 3D effect. Drop me a comment and tell me what you think of the final product.

I love the way that some of the armor looks.
use a electric fly trap with high voltage .is good.
I did on the first one that I built, and put a bit to many volts through it, melted the whole thing. 😁

Hi, whereabouts in South Africa are you located? I am in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. I have built a static grass applicator using an electric flyswatter, which I changed to 9volts instead of the 3volt. Works ok, but I want to upgrade to a negative ion generator one too.
I also tried a flyswatter before, but the amount of static that it generates is no that great. The ion generator works so much better.
