I noticed when I plug earphones into my chromatic while playing Dragonhym the audio just sounds awful, anyone else have this problem?

Same happened to mine. Exchanging has been a pain in the neck.

I was kinda ignoring the Chromatic until just a few days ago, thankfully the gamestop edition is still available online. It should be here by the end of the week. Ill definitely buy these games too

Absolutely hate the branding, but that display is cool as hell. Really wish more handheld companies would commission custom panels.

Ha ha the snort at 1:37. Laughed at that way longer than I should have. I appreciate the build quality of this thing but it's just way too expensive not to mention ugly. I also saw in another video that carts have a lot of play while in the slot. For that price I'd just bleed the wallet a little more for the beautiful Analog Pocket.

My first one had a dead Tetris cart. Brought it in, exhchanged it without problem. Second one had the imfamous scratches on the IR plate. Contacted Modretro and they sent out a new one without issue. They also provided a bonus, which I won't mention specifically. Ill say, issues asside, they do seem to want to make things right no matter what. Hopefully they learn from their mistakes so that their future "premium" products don't suffer the same small, though important issues. I'd really like to see them succeed.

Charms come with a game

FYI, you can get the gamestop bunny charm at gamestop when picking up your unit, many gamestop employees weren't informed about the charms as being for the purpose of pairing with the chromatic as they're loose and not actually kept inside the box. If you tell them about them they have them. I got mine after I told them about it.

The charms were only given to those reviewing the unit. I didn't get them either. This is the first case I seen where it's dead on arrival. I did see another video where the back cover wasn't fully flush with the rest of the back. Then I saw another video where the menu button wasn't soldered correctly to the board and the person fixed it. So it looks like there are issues with quality control for the Chromatic. Luckily mine has no problems.

Oh boy, looks like a defected unit, something must had happened while it was being shipped towards gamestop Edit: at least they gave you another one that is ACTUALLY working but its sad enough that it didn't come with that little thing that's supposed to go on the Chromatic Edit 2: if you wanna know how to insta drop a block on tetris, you gotta press on the up arrow

So you expected one of those little strap-on charms too. I didn't get one either. But like with the batteries, I had it covered.

Press up on the D pad for the insta drop btw. I have the EverDrive-GB X7 coming in, will do a video on that once it gets here. I'm hoping it works.

It's a good thing you picked one up from GameStop so you could just exchange it at the store.

Dude my kids retroid 2 plus is busted, the charging port gets super hot but doesnt charge. Must be a short.

My dash goes out every once in a while...put the car in acc mode hold the climate for 3 seconds and then turn the headlights off and on 3 times and mibes come back on
