great video and thanks for all your work. i have an issue this my ip its says error after some time. it dont find any ip my other vm pc win 10 and server they have internet with the same settings. Bridged connect vms to the external network. you know why happen this? UPDATE : ip done! now i have a second issue with instaling. after i open for a second time the adress it dont give me the selection "automatically download the dsm so i go to the page and i find this version (7.1.1-42962) and i download a pat file. i must put it in the same folder that nas is?

you are a life saver. i have only used kali and other VMs that i use with NAT and mostly only use Docker. But Docker network and windows are so shit together and i had no other choice but to start migrating all of my servers to a VM and then bridge it. Thanks a lot :)

Hi sir. I have following error coming up on a DC. We had old DC decommissioned few months ago. And now few months later new DC throwing following error. So how would I go about solving Event: 4012 on a single domain controller environment. This server has no DFS role installed either. Unsure why it is throwing DFS replication error. Please advise, thanks! Log: DFS Replication Type: Error Event: 4012 Source: DFSR Category: None Username: N/A Computer: SOMEDC.xyz.local Description: The DFS Replication service stopped replication on the folder with the following local path: C:\Windows\SYSVOL\domain. This server has been disconnected from other partners for 60 days, which is longer than the time allowed by the MaxOfflineTimeInDays parameter (60). DFS Replication considers the data in this folder to be stale, and this server will not replicate the folder until this error is corrected.

This was just a temporary fix for me that achieved the same result as simply rebooting the vm. I am still getting the issue about half the time. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for your video! I found this fix 👇 Execute on terminal (CTRL+ALT+T - open KONSOLE Terminal on linux): 👉 sudo systemctl enable --now vmware-networks [it's a double hifen before the now parameter] I found the answer on Manjaro forums by username cfinnberg.

My problem start after every update of VMware so neither of the solutions I´ve found works. What I did was download the new VM, manually clean the system from anything with the old version, install the new and woop woop up and running again.

Where do you get that iso file when you deselect auto select disk and choose your own becuase mine is empty
