You didn't explain or show the set up for the metronome beat pattern which is the most important part of Octavia''s build and imo the most difficult. If you are new make sure you understand how to set up the metronome or you will have trouble becoming invisible and getting the best possible damage from your mallet. Most Octavia guides skip this and without it you will die and die quickly and often.

Was finally able to unlock steel path, and immediately unlocked venus. This is a godsend when farming steel essence...

Can confirm this method no longer works in the latest update. Npcs will begin shooting at Octavia randomly when she's invisible. Doesn't matter if she's standing still on the top of the coin or is moving around with only her 3rd skill activated. They'll begin shooting at you as if you aren't invisible

This had to have been nerfed!!! 1 YEAR AGO I lasted for an hour easy. Got to choose when to leave. NOW??? The small air packs dont drop as often!

they really need to nerf the living daylights out of octavia. prob remove stealth entirely. i mean they nerfed ember into oblivion 4 times for far less. i thought DE hated afk frames.

Very good guide. Clear and put together well. I personally don't like playing Octavia because she is boring after a while. But if you can put up with that, she's super effective.

Her fourth ability doesn't actually double the damage of the mallet though. Also adaptation/vitality aren't survivability mods for steel path, much better would be rolling guard.

You should specify Steel Path in the title. Obviously these are only primary and secondary arcanes, not warframe arcanes

I have focus lens in 3 places, on my warframe, on my primary weapon and on my melee weapon. My warframe has focus lens level 4, primary weapon has focus lens level 3, and the melee weapon has level 2. It has all of them max level and I only gain 50k in half an hour in survival and my friend who only has a level 4 focus lens gains 100k and 150k in 30/40 minutes, I don't understand how.

I thought octavia had set damage for the first ability LOL
