Robyn, clarinets sound great! I wish the iteration of the tune at 1'25" (trumpets) did not cover the super-COOL harmonies Grainger is giving the woodwinds there; we already know what the melody sounds like.....let's hear what Grainger is doing there in the accompaniment that only he would do! It's one of my favorite quintessential Grainger moments in all his pieces.

thanks, this helped me a lot because I have to do this line for Allstate. I hope I get in, and this video was really great and deserves more recognition(as do a lot of videos). It would also be helpful to me and a lot of other clarinetists this year if you could do page 56 line 24, because that's the technical this year.

Can you recommend a lyrical piece for a student who has only completed Rubank Elementary Method for Clarinet to play for an audition?
GREAT! what are we auditioning for? Honor band, Solo and ensemble, chair in school band? give me more info. There are PLENTY of grade 1 and 2 solos out there Id be happy to recommend :)

I just pulled out THAT book! I bought that book at the music store around 2006? Only because it had fingering chart.Using it for lessons.
