I've decided to start this channel because I want to document some of the more fun things that I do on a normal basis. I'm an avid mountain biker, rock climber, and snowboarder. I like to cook, build, explore, vacation, and hang with my soon to be wife, friends, and my dogs!

FRUIT JAM 2021
There hasn't been a jam here since 2014. We've spent all year getting the trails back and running as good or better than they were originally. Thanks to everyone that came out and had a blast. Thanks to the original builders. AND THANKS TO COLBY MUNDAY @mundays_adventures for filming and capturing all the goods!

As soon as you said road gap, I knew what it was. That was an excellent air spot back in the day when there was a lot of snow. The road into Oz would be cut out and some of the locals would build a little kicker up there to hit on skis and snowboards. Good times.

I'd love to be able to do this stuff but I struggle enough on "rock walls" at places like gyms. I'm reasonably sure I would fall at least once, and even with clips that couldn't feel good, and you still have to make it up.
How jarring is the impact when you land? What tips would you give? I've done small gaps before but nothing of this caliber. Do you treat it like a jump? Or is it one that you just carry speed and basically ride off of?
I was on a short travel bike so the landing was a little harsh. The landing being a downhill slope helps a lot. You don't really need to treat this like a jump. Just pull your front tire up when you're riding off at trail speed and you'll carry nicely into the landing. Drops are normally pretty smooth when they have a downsloped landing.
