Thanks for sharing, greatly apprrciated. I notice huge difference. Not much variety of marine species compared to years ago the last time i was in those waters, but i could be wrong, I say its due to global warming leading to coral bleach. I hope the corals and fish are slowly populating. Long island is also a good place to snorkel. Its a public area, you can see lots of fish and clams.

Did you go to the Jellyfish lake? You can swim with the Jellyfish, they won't sting. Its the only place in the world you can do this.

I'm originally from Palau, but now live in Australia. I hope you enjoyed the place and that the local people there treated you both with kindess and respect. I remember the waters (not dive sites) where i used to fish, also, it brought good childhood memories for me when i watched you both walking on the main street, nastolgia....Thanks for that.

I dove at Lady Elliott several years ago. Being an American it was a bucket list thing to dive on the Great Barrier Reef. I noticed the sea snakes on your dive. The memory that stands out to me most vividly was the warning to not to interact with the sea snakes. The are not aggressive at all but if one bites you its the end of the line! Lady Elliott is a very special place!
