Waitangi

An afternoon at the Waitangi Treaty grounds. This is the place where the treaty between the British Crown and an alliance of Maori tribes was signed in 1840. There were two versions in English and Maori. They stated slightly different interpretations of issues like Sovereignty and who controlled the land and resources. Its still being re-interpreted to this day.

I hopped off the tour bus down by the River Tagus. The weather was lovely as were the views. Several interesting buildings including a military museum and castle. Bust considering its the end of October.

TRF Kent Trail Ride Crowborough 1990

One of the many green road rides around Crowborough in East Sussex. These lanes are still accessible but have now been repaired and regraded in many cases. Still fun to ride.

The Kent TRF hired out part of the infield area at Brands Hatch for a motorcycle event. Its scary how young we all were in those days. Steve Neville and Ian Roscow are the only two who are still members.

Thanks Steve, I enjoyed watching your video. FYI the acceleration test was won by the 2019 Tesla Model 3 with its second run being 3.5 seconds. The 2nd and 3rd places were tied at 4 seconds with a 1978 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 and a 2019 Dodge Charger.
