Sounds amazing, Can you show us how did you color the middle of your rear bumper?
I just looked at the lines on the middle portion of the rear bumper, taped it off, scuffed the paint up and laid some black paint and some clear coat on it. Wasn't too bad of a process.

I saw a group buy for low profile trd center caps for those rims on the tacomaworld forum. Would look really good in those. It replaces the cone method provides.

Wow! That sounds so much cooler. I gotta do this to my 4runner. My whole exhuast is pretty shot anyhow. Did you notice an negative effects from the change? Is it bad for the car at all to have no exhaust? I'm still learning all this. Sorry if these are novice questions.
I personally didn't notice anything. It was just obnoxious on long drives.

main thing i can think of us due to the heat under the SUV. There is many things there not made for that level of heat right next to them like that.
@@SnakZ so a straight pipe out the side or back would probably be a safer long term option then?

Nice ride, what’s the offset on the wheels? And are you using any spacers?
0 offset 4.5" backspacing and no wheel spacers.

@biggestcharliefan they're everywhere out here lol. Quiet place to make a video. I did skyline drive and did some other stuff out at 5 mile. Nothing crazy since there's a spacer lift installed.

What size is that rear tire? How tall is that tank lift?? I just know!! Looks amazing.
Stock rear tire. I believe the tank lift was 2"

Could you give me some parts numbers for the control arms and spindles?
Control arms can be found on BTF fabrications website. Made to order. Spindles are from maxtrac and are the 4" lift 2wd
You should look at the rear axle to make sure they repositioned the Panhard rod. It should be horizontal, not angling down from the bottom of the shock to where it attaches to the rear axle. Here's a video that explains the necessity for this readjustment and how it's done. Very simple process. th-cam.com/video/-W5TfPnEBTM/w-d-xo.html.
People trying to make this motor sound good. It can't and won't. But is ultra reliable and bulletproof.
This is 9 months ago, however, you have exhaust rattle. I'm sure you fixed it by now lol
I sold it a few months ago. Upgraded to a 2021. Some people like the sound and others don't. It doesn't sound good with no muffler, that's for sure.
The 4Runner engine is everything! Except fast or good sounding...

Clean 4th gen, the color combo with the rims and emblems is such a nice touch. I have the exact same model.except i run with black emblems and rims. I gotta get that straight pipe!

No regear. Honestly, it drives fine, and I'm getting around 15.2 mpg

Nice build and I was wondering how did you mount the 10” front shocks, where did you get your shock hoop or did you fabricate your own. Thanks!
Had a shop here in Utah weld a shock hoop in. I know you can buy universal shock hoops and Ranger specific shock towers online but they still need to be welded to the frame.
If you do decide to change it, make sure you get the skid plate with the trap door for the oil filter.
That skid plate is for a 4Runner with KDSS but for $100 do you really care?
Did you get the skid plate for the KDSS suspension? The regular TRD skid plates usually have good side protection.
The skidplate was originally on a 4runner with KDSS

What. front suspension kit were you running? I'm looking at the blitzkrieg kit but wanted to get some ideas of what others are running

The word "BUILD" should not be used. "UPGRADE or MODIFIED" is more appropriate to use because YOU actually DID NOT BUILD the 4RUNNER.

And did you tune the bike for hookah exhaust?
The seat is a west eagle solo seat. I used a Vance and Hines fuel pack to tune the bike
@@unclekream8482 Do you remember if the fuel pack had that exhaust listed like it does the most common ones?
@@rayrivera9141 it did not have the hookah headers listed at the time I tuned it. I found a map of a 2-1 exhaust then self tuned it off that map

Just a K&N cold intake. Everything else was stock

@@unclekream8482 I have a 2010 Ranger sport 4x4 that I'm contemplating supercharging. I need to do more research though because I don't want to adversely hurt reliability/durability.
@@robedwards6926 I've had my 2009 Ranger Sport Supercharged for over 3 years now. No problems. 163k miles currently. Make sure you get it tuned and it's a good idea to run it with water injection.
