Thank you for taking the time o explain this!!!
Why 5% to determine discrimination?
In many cases, alpha =0.05 is used as the cutoff for determining statistical significance which is what I am using here . There are many reasons for choosing this level of significance, you might come across them later on if you study inferential statistics as part of a course you are taking
Thank you so much
you helped me more in 2 minutes than my teacher has in 2 weeks
Excel looks different now so I don't know how to do the histogram part at the end:(
deserves a sub
This is an amazing tutorial. Perfect for learning from your own data set. Thanks!
Thank you so much
This helped me thank you!
Very thankfull to you for making a good understanding class than my class teacher
Professor Alayeb may Allah Bless you! Thank you so much

Again. Using excel instead of a TI-84 calculator smh 🤦🏽♂️
Why would you use excel? We students do not use excel. We use actual calculators. You totally missed the show your work part. You show no steps on what to when using a calculator. Or what numbers to add up or whatever. You totally missed that so I had to rate the video a 👎
why would you need a calculator to answer these lol it’s literally looking at the chart and what value matches the value you’re looking for. all she did was use excel to add when you can literally just write out the numbers and add. hope this helps
right lol this video was great @@kambam2336
Simple and to the point explanation! Thank you so much!
Assalam o alaikum, Madam plz advise if we a two digit number without any decimals, then what constant we have to subtract to get the upper control limit, thanks

Good explanation
The table summarizes results from 985 pedestrian deaths that were caused by automobile accidents. Pedestrian Deaths Driver Intoxicated? Pedestrian Intoxicated? Yes No Yes 62 81 No 251 591 If one of the pedestrian deaths is randomly selected, find the probability that the pedestrian was not intoxicated but the driver was.
81/985 =8.22%
@@asmaalayeb7811 Thank you so much I have a question regarding the problem because I know based on the meaning of the language of statistics, I could not find a example problem of the above question and before you could respond to me I made a guess and got it wrong so I am doing another question and I do not understand the probability lingo. is or & nor the same like; the pedestrian mor the driver was intoxicated? is the pedestrian and the driver were not intoxicated the same as both the pedestrian nor the driver were intoxicated while driving? i'm confused
The table summarizes results from 976 pedestrian deaths that were caused by automobile accidents. Pedestrian Deaths Driver Intoxicated? Pedestrian Intoxicated? Yes No Yes 60 82 No 242 592 If one of the pedestrian deaths is randomly selected, find the probability that neither the pedestrian nor the driver was intoxicated. Please enter a decimal to 4 places.
@@tanjonzou9840 yes those are the same
So that would be 592/976 =0.6066
I can't hear
Thank you for helping me with my studies :)
this was great - I have always had a tough time with excel graphing but this was very stratightforward
thank you for your work
Thank you so much!
Hi Asma, thank you for your video. Between age and mileage, which would be the explanatory and response variable?
Age would be explanatory, mileage would be response since mileage is dependent on age , not the other way around
@@asmaalayeb7811 thank you !
Comprehensive, clear and great explanation of this topic. Thank you very much, you have rally helped me to pass my quiz. waiting for more videos.
Not bad
thanks
How can I make the frequency count in a range format, if the class is 0-4 for example?
Use =countifs( data , ">="&lower limit, data,"<="&upper limit). Make sure you lock your range
I have another video explaining it too
loved this, thank you Asma!
straightforward!
Thank youu
Thanks for the video Question is this the same process for the site-wide (university wide on our D2L system) LTI 1.3 setup with MOM - we are trying to setup a site-wide and instructions say to still export/import - however error messages keep showing up... thanks!
This process is just to integrate one course to D2L, so it will not work for site-wide integration. I don't think site wide is possible though, since MOM doesn't have the capacity of creating instructor accounts automatically . Each instructor has to sign up for MOM and get approved by one of the admins. You can sign up for a MOM account, then request the privilege of adding new users on behalf of school, so your instructors don't have to wait for an approval The integration of courses should be done by each instructor individually in that case I know I am not very helpful, sorry. I suggest that you direct this question to David Lippman or one of the other admins on MOM
Thank u 😊👍🏻
Thank you!!!
Mam do you take online classes ?
be more clear

Thank you so much Asma for posting this example! You are helping me survive my statistics class! You did a wonderful job explaining this complex problem to where now I can do many more like this with my eyes close! This definitely help boost my confidence.
