Martin short
I love them. Im 34 and am so grateful to have seen a lot from both of them.
gold I tells ya.....
This is one of the best movies I've ever seen. Not a wasted word....not a throwaway frame. Pretty much perfect. Rented it like 20 years ago or something. Never thought I'd find it again.
Comic Relief 2006
I loved every original cast member of SCTV. BEST TV show of all time.
The world would be a better place if Catherine were president.
Catherine O'Hare doing James Mason for a second is pure gold
I remember working 2nd shift and looking forward to seeing SCTV before there was a snl. They were unbelievably laugh your ass off funny and then some. Love them all and I have so many fond memories of them all!
Had a real good time watching this. Of course, I'm 59 years old. But don't hold that against me. Unless you mean to do something with it?
Geeeez I could like this million times. Thanks SCTV
Wow!
I was so lucky to watch these hilarious peeps back in the early 70s @ The Second City. Then they become mega stars. Priceless memory.
These two are the greatest comedic geniuses we’ve got - I wish someone would get them together on a show NOW!!! Catherine O’Hara is the only person who can make me laugh from the get-go before she’s even done anything. What gifts!
Used to take the LIRR with my mom as a kid in the early 00’s and used to see the show advertised on the windows but didn’t see the show until just now at nearly 30 years of age
Who didn't lust after Catherine O"Hara. ? I mean a clean honest and perfectly normal lust, right ? ...right ?...anyone ?
All my girlfriends have made me laugh hysterically. All of them. I'm a sucker for a dame who makes me laugh!

So many of America's greatest performers are Canadian! Anne Murray and William Shatner included. A pantheon of stars.
Good lighting!
Funny women attractive? Who else thinks carol Burnett is sexy?
God , I've had such a crush on Catharine ❤️. Her funny is just so damned attractive 😘
She is still hot
Catherine O'Hara is the real deal. Tremendously talented and very easy on the eyes. I forgot how spot on her Jane Fonda was. Nobody, I know of even attempted that. Kate Hepburn, Liz Taylor... yes, but Jane...Amazing!!
Gotta say, Marty was the least funny guy on SCTV. That includes the ladies, badda boom. Not sure why people say he's so funny, he definitely seems nice and enthusiastic, but I never found him very funny. He was the guy who talked louder than everybody else to make sure you heard him but wished he'd shut up. Even now those Jiminy Glick things are basically fat jokes and him putting on glasses and making the same funny face. Rick and John I thought were the two funniest, not sure why Rick won't have anything to do with, well, anything any more.
I agree Mike , today I still don’t get why people think he was humorous ! And Ed Grimly what the heck is that about ! Too strange .
Ed Grimley still makes me howl with laughter
Ed Grimley was the only redeeming thing about Martin Short. I used to even watch the animated EG cartoon on Saturday mornings. Otherwise, I just don't really understand him.
What hurt was he came on the show high energy while the rest of the cast were pretty burnt out. This really stood out. I found all his high energy guys annoying. The best thing I can say about him is his best work was on talk shows. There you could see his talent and quick wit shine.
I am a 37-year-old woman who recently became a fan of Martin Short, so I can't defend him too much because I haven't seen much of his younger work. I've seen more of him as an older actor alongside Steve Martin. In fact, I became a fan of both thanks to the show Only Murders in the Building. But I wanted to say that serious interviews with Martin Short have made me really like him as a person, and the funny ones have made me laugh and adore his relationship with Steve Martin. On the other hand, everyone has their own sense of humor, and what makes one person laugh may not make someone else laugh. So, saying that someone isn't funny can be a subjective criticism, after all.
21:16 is the basis for Celebrity death match.
OMG...what happened to this show, it has/had every possible ingredient to be a stellar success. CBS is crazy for not having nurtured this into a solid hit.
The ratings dropped big time and the reviews were by and large very negative, so they pulled the plug.

R.I.P. to both Fred Willard & Gilda Radner; Host: David Steinberg
Isn’t that Wilson from House?
Reminded me a bit of a show Traylor Howard's Monk co-star Tony Shalhoub appeared in, Stark Raving Mad.
I thought Stark Raving Mad was much better written and acted. That show was criminally underrated.
When I was 12 years old I was at Toronto Airport dropping off my eldest brother and I recognized Catherine O’Hara from SCTV. I told my mother and she said I should go ask for her autograph and being shy I just stared at her for 15 minutes or so working up my courage all the while Catherine noticed me staring. I finally approached her and asked for her autograph she was so nice and kind. I still have it today and is one of my most treasured possessions and it reminds me of when my family was whole. Thank you Catherine for the joy you bring them through your art.🇨🇦❤️
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😜
miss glenn shadix.
Does anybody have the rest of the few released episodes? I haven't been able to find this show since I saw it in the mid-2000s on TV in my country, which aired the show once for some reason.

The show had potential.
Love Noah too
Love Catharine Love this!
I liked this show, too bad it didn't last long
It had bad reviews and ratings. That's why.
she could play Jen Psaki in an SNL skit! i see the resemblance
What year was this filmed? It looks like Catherine from now and Marty from the 80s
This was filmed around 2004.

Marty never ages really
"Men are always attracted to funny women". Unfortunately only if they're hot. Otherwise if would be a bigamist.
I'm a funny woman who's not hot... And I've always thought about how unfair it is that we women find funny men very attractive, but men don't feel the same way about us. Oh, well, whatever...
This was so very lovely with oneteeny, tiny problem...THERE ARE NOT MUSKOKAS! It is just Muskoka. LOL
Thank you so much for uploading this! I really was hoping someone would!
Wonderful and touching.
The Vampire Are cool
SCTV was a highlight of my Canadian childhood-everyone in my family loved them so much-so hilarious!
I was just thinking about this interview last weekend and realized I hadn’t saved it. Thanks for posting it!🙏
NO ONE topped them then, nor now! Even MADTV was better than SNL (with the exception of one season: 84-85 - which included Martin Short). SCTV Alummni created amazing 3D characters, did fantastic impressions, generated absolutely hilarious sit-com content, & cherry-topped it all with amazing makeup & wardrobe!!! Their most Genius Move, though, was how they incorporated their guest star or musical artist into the fabric of the sketch - case in point; AL Jarreau in The Jazz Singer, or James Ingram in a Dr. Tongue/Bruno episode. I couldn't WAIT til Friday nights & MADE SURE I was in front of that TV 12:30AM - 2AM ready to go! It got me through many (miserable) years in High School... I was compelled to write them a letter - & DID - about how much I LOVED their show/acting/make-up, & felt it a "personal achievement" convincing my parents to stay up & watch them! 《heh》(...well. ....they were in bed by 8pm & 10pm but I convinced them this was TOTALLY WORTH IT.. & I was right!! They were knocked out by the quality of humor & characters, & became just a addicted as I did!) These well-seasoned comedians/comediennes are my FAVORITES - - - OF ALL TIME!!! P E R I O D !!!
AGREED!!!
SNL thee most overrated comedy show (hell, maybe just show) EV-VER.
