Love this! so much I could relate to in the first half (unfortunately haha) the hormozi’s changed my outlook on business forever 2 years ago and I’m so glad you’ve come around on Alex 😂 Also, staying consistent with just 1 thing is actually so difficult in a world full of distractions and you’re so real for mentioning it, today i see it as a form of “productive procrastination” interesting that I always want to do something new when I feel “stuck” on a problem in the business instead of just solving it 🙄

I don’t know your situation. But this is why I stay home. It takes a lot of time, but then I do not know what to do with my free time, I do get bored. I would rather have it all done at home and have some boredom, than the other way around. I am also grateful to have a husband that works triple the amount of hours a 40 hour week requires so our kids can have me home. (Fire Engineer). Great career in California, wouldn’t want it any other way. If I worked I would have to spend money for a cleaner, meals out, and help with the kids. Especially since I am basically a single mom most of the month.

@@lifewitholliethegsp9203 So wonderful that you have that option!!!! Love that for you. Soak it up. How many kids do you have / how old are they?? How do you find feeling like a single mom for most of the month? Is that hard, practically or emotionally? Honestly, good on you, it’s not always easy to solo parent. I would love to stay at home. But honestly, I’m torn. I have my “work self” who is highly ambitious & then I have my “mum self” who wants to stay at home with the kids (we only have 1 right now, but want more). At the end of the day, our financial situation meant I didn’t have a choice! And that’s why I’m making this content, show my journey from broke > financial freedom where I have the choice to stay home with my children!

I totally feel this! I noticed it in myself and realized… it’s hormone related for me. Right before my period I ALWAYS feel like I need to buy something. While during the rest of the month I’m super careful with spending! I noticed this about myself and both of my sisters too! We all agreed it’s the same for us. I started a “treat yourself” account for myself during my spending phase and it’s been so nice! I don’t have to feel bad about spending that money now because it’s set aside with a limit.

@@KaceyHullinger omg I love this!!! I love that you identified & actioned with a treat yourself account. That’s brilliant. Also, I never even considered it might match up with cycles!!!! I would like to have had children, but you're right!!! The expense and the freedom you lose, not saying it wouldn't be worth it. But the time you lose. Trying to buy a home to build a family these days is also near impossible. Renting is so unstable also these days. I know so many people who have children and can not rent a property, probably because they have children!!! They've had to move in with other family members or tents, and they didn't have a mark against their names. Working full-time sucks as you said time!!! It all revolves around work and you being there all the time, and let's look at the reality of your hard work!!! it really only appreciated in the moment!!! But you do need it to get out of bed in the morning. l think this was the purpose of working originally, aside from the money bit. But where such an in debted society now and have become so reliant on working full-time. I also work out consistently. I have to eat the same food over and over and lots of it. That's how I fixed my food bill and the time issue. Quick and easy fresh food throw it all in the oven potato skins and all, lol😂😂 I throw so much money into investments and savings so I can buy more freedom... l try to make the most with the freedom I do have!!!! Revolving your life around 2 days a week to me is dumb and always has been. Every job I've quit from has been a Monday morning. A manager will set me off about something as I walk in, and then something else will do it like a customer or something. That's it for me 😂😂😂 absolutely keep educating younger people to save, invest, just be better with money. Money gets you freedom, choices less stress gives you flexibility it makes life easier it removes the worry about job losses or quitting in a heated argument or the stress of hating the job and having to go there!!! Then, having to take on the first crappy job that comes along, which would add more pressure to a family life, especially if you're living week to week... keep teaching people to budget as that's the key to one's freedom!!!!

Haha “skins and all” made me laugh. I think that’s just a great hack, keep things simple & eliminate decision fatigue. Absolutely love it. Keeping the goal of freedom front of mind always!!! It’s what gets us through the trenches 👏

@MoneyByMajella I'm happy 😊 you liked the comment. You deserve it 👏 With the car scenario. The current car is almost 25 years old, and she's getting tired, and she also has roughly 5000000ks on her. I can assure you I'm currently on 150k ball park figure their is absolutely no hope I'm ever spending 75k on a car 😆🤣 im way too cheap for that. I'm thinking more like 5 or 6k max, and the houses I usually reside in are complete dumps. So the rent never really goes up, and I'm never really paying that much anyway as nobody really wants to live in them. Take care of yourselves and keep giving advice to people as we are not taught anything in school about finances or investing. We are taught how to spend, though.
