Hi hope, really there isn't much difference in being abled bodied and pregnant and have cp and being pregnant. I opted to have c-section(s) yes I have since had a second baby (another girl) the reason I had sections was to lower the risk of fracture in my hips, I have osteoporosis as well plus another reason being the doctor and I were concerned about fatigue levels that could be attached with a long labour. My best piece of advice is do what feels right for you, if that's a natural both then give it a go, if you feel better with a section then opt section. You and only you are the one that knows your body the best. Also I found that my spasticity increased slightly whilst pregnant, I weaned off oral baclofen whilst pregnant as a precaution, but started taking it after birth and that was fine while breast feeding. I hope that this all helps 😊

I adore you...*hugs* from California.
Samantha - first let me say that I love you - JUST BECAUSE...I accidentally found your vblog a while back and have been with you ever since. I do not have any special needs but have my own issues and you give me so much hope in life. *hugs* I look forward to all your videos - they make my day - MY LIFE...
Thank you for making this video. I have CP myself (Athetoid & Spastic Quad) & I've searched high & low for info on CP & pregnancy & found absolutely nothing. It's really disappointing. There really should be more information available. Anyway, thanks again for the video. It was very insightful & informative. Good luck with the remainder of your pregnancy!
Thanks! Lucky for me i have already had the flu this year. Will be writing another blog and posting another video soon. Cheers xxx.
Hi Sammy! Thanks for the video blog update! Hope you don't get the flu!
