Never use anything but PayPal to purchase anything on eBay. They should be able to intervene and get your money back. These Cut 40/50 plasma cutter circuit boards are made in the same factory in China with very little differences. There is little to no documentation or schematics. Repair is usually not difficult. I'd probably start a business fixing them but with shipping costs, parts sourcing and waiting for parts from China, you could probably buy another one cheaper.

Can I use it on a 15A circuit?

4 years ago I got a cheap jackhammer for a small job it burnt up in 10 minutes of using it . the guy ask me to do a video so i did black smoke rolling out the drive motor . he sent me a new one no ? I have over 50 hours on it . one bad one out of the box the next one was fine .

Mine did the same thing turned out I found one of the 1000 ohm resistors in the lower board where it creates the spark was bad. I replaced it and works like a champ

Have the same problem. Dont use it for 3 months. Then it will work for 2 houres 😊

So sorry to hear your cutter died. I was thinking about buying this model but ended up paying a bit more and getting an everlast. Everyone should have a plasma cutter in their garage. They are so useful.
