Founded in 1999 by Merryn and Grant Straker as a technology services business, out of Auckland New Zealand. The business evolved into a translation company in 2010 when clients needed website translation services. The co-founders quickly realised how inefficient existing manual translation processes were at that point and saw a huge opportunity to combine both machine-learning and human expertise to produce fast, accurate and cost-effective translations. Over the past 13 years, Straker has built unrivalled proprietary technology - offering smart, scalable and simple solutions to their global client base.
