I believe every journey you take is full of stories: stories on the why, the how, the what. Stories about people you meet, the food you eat, and most importantly, the lessons you learn.
I love telling stories with words and images, and I love traveling. In this channel, I share with you the places I travel to and any how-to behind those journeys.

So beautiful, thanks for sharing this with all of us.. such a visual treat!
Keep it up!

Turkey is one of the most beautiful countries…..
Just got back from Istanbul last week. We loved it. Everyone was so friendly, the food was great. You didn't mention the Topkapi palace - that's the top site in Istanbul, although they are charging TL 1500 to get in ($46).
I went to Istanbul turkey and it was my favorite country that I visited in 2024 in 2023 my favorite country that I visit was Argentina thanks you for the amazing video
Raji - I have watched all five (5) parts. Wonderful accomplishment. Consider the GR20 in Corsica next! I will be doing the Via Alpina in August 2024 and am having trouble locating a website or contact information for the hotel at Rochers de Naye. By chance, do you have an email, website, or phone #? Is there still a restaurant and hotel there? Danke/Merci.
Thank you. Rochers was an impromptu change of plan for us and we had the hotel where we stayed a couple of nights before call them. I do see a number in the cicerone guidebook we used: 021 989 83 74. You could try that one. Good luck and I think you will have a wonderful time! Via Alpina is one of the most beautiful long-distance trails we have walked.
Getting to the start line is the hard work. The event is a celebration of one of the most eccentric groups of people from all over the world. Long distance cycling is an extraordinary community, and the communities of North West France who support the riders. It is a privilege to take part.
Beautiful video Raji!
Peaceful video thank you
Nice to see the atmosphere and congrats to Narayan!
Wow, found this by total fluke. I spoke to you at the finish while you were waiting for your husband. Great film. Greetings from Andy in Ireland.
This is a lovely film, thank you and congratulations to Narayan
Amazing filmography. Informative. It’s uplifting to watch people travel across the world to participate. Impressed by Narayan’s perseverance and determination. 1200 km is beyond my imagination. Super impressive ❤
Very nice presentation and an excellent performance within scheduled time Very proud of you both.
Well done! 👍💪🚴
Beautiful 👍💥🎉🎉
Hello
👍🙏
Nice 😊
Raji. Thanks.this is splendid . 👌
Love that little schnapps station along the way! Looks like a great first set :)
Hi Raji. Love your videos. We plan on doing the Via Alpina next September from Altdorf to Kandersteg. A couple of questions: 1. Trekking poles. I've heard a few differing thoughts. I've heard some people just buy poles over there since TSA won't allow them. What did you do? Check them with your backpacks? 2. What were some of the places you stayed that were most memorable. Thanks for your help. Ted
Oh yes, Altdorf to Kandersteg section has some of the best scenery. I wish you a great time next year! On your questions: 1- I relied on my trekking poles so much since my knees were trashed by the steep downhills and sometime I needed the extra support for the stability. I did put away the poles where I needed both or one of my hands free to hold on to a rock for support (along some narrow sections, but nothing too bad). On the plane, I carried all my stuff in cabin in my backpack, except the poles and my tripod. These, I packed in a very thin camping chair bag like this one, and checked them in: mobileimages.lowes.com/productimages/9b7118b9-2d65-4cb1-8fe4-83a9adf1ba26/09867803.jpg?size=pdhism 2- I loved Hotel Gemse in Weistannen, Berggasthaus Tannalp in Tannalp, Hotel Sonnwendhof Engelberg, Hotel Gletscherblick in Grindelwald, Chalet Fontana in Murren, Blumlisalphutte, and staying at Rochers de Naye. I got to see and photograph the milky way at Tannalp, which was a bucket list item for me...and Rochers de Naye and Blumlisalphutte are just fabulous locations to stay at.
@@thisisrajiraj Thanks Raji.
Hi! Can I contact u via email to learn more about your itinerary? Planning of going next year. Thanks in advance!
Definitely. I made a video to try and answer some questions: th-cam.com/video/ZXHcjuUKg74/w-d-xo.html. The description has my itinerary, but let me know if you have more questions. Good luck!
Wow! These parks are absolutely amazing. I could get lost in those forests ♥
Nice! The music could have been better 😊
So nice
Wonderful
Wish this was actually inclusive…
Hello! I'm the model in the wheelchair. The reason I wasn't on the stage was because they didn't have a wheelchair ramp. Disabled models could not physically access the stage. They confirmed with me that a wheelchair ramp would be there on Aug 18th, but did not call the hotel for the ramp until an hour before the show. Please check out my social if you want to see more of my story. This show was inclusive, but not for people with disabilities. They have promised to do better next year.
@colleen: I'll be showing my collection there next year and I'd LOVE to have you model for me if you're up for it--contemporary women's wear. And I will MAKE SURE we have a ramp way before, but also a runway that's wide enough to spin a wheelchair around in.
Yup, I agree that was a HUGE miss. I was glad you where there and I hope things are indeed better next year. It was good to note the organizers publicly apologizing for the miss as well. Keep doing awesome work and pushing folks to do better!
