How you counted seems a little weird: the pons-to-unlock costs should be counted separately, so that you can factor in pons you'd have already collected from previous levels.

Yeah, the hardest (mandatory) challenge in the game is easily the fight against the gods. By that point, you should have mastered every tool in your toolbox, and the reason fire and electric are so hard to dodge is likely because they want you to perfect guard them. Fire especially, guarding such a wide hitting sweep, even if it isnt perfect timing, goes a long way to surviving the fight. If you can perfect guard, on the other hand, you get a much more generous window of invincibility compared to a dodge, which needs quite a bit of gear buffs to even have a chance of abusing i-frames. ...And all of this is coming from someone who mostly refuses to guard in my playstyle. XD

Yooo. Recently played AHIT for the first time and it was an experience. To see that such a game still has quality content online and to this day a amazing since I've known this game's existence a while ago. Really nice video and too underrated imo

i recently did a "get on my level" run at like level 99 but didn't have the ascended equipment so i was stuck with equipment 30 levels below the enemy level. i thought that a level 1 run would be impossible but surprisingly, it doesn't look like the difficulty is *much* different. though the damn wiccat sections are infinitely harder thanks to no clone dash wave arts or dash arts in general. i will take on this challenge now! thank you for the boost in confidence

i went full turtle in my build for my normal playthrough, the adept gloves are so worth getting and upgrading later because with upgraded ice circuits you can just hold block and parry most rapid attacks like apollo's homing barrage

When he is doing the big square-dodgy think, I actually just used the damage reflection shield and held up my shield and blocked a lot of the damage. Also, yeah the burn debuff was great for this boss.
