Hi! Do you know which brand/company was involved in making the tweeter for these speakers? I hear in another video it was a famous speaker company but forgot the name, do you know?

Hi to me it sounds really nice. Relaxed and with some heft but at the same time details enough. Voices sounds really nice rather real . Some peple says it needs alot of power. This 25 watt sounds good to me. Im thinkkng of buying these and have a little hybrid amp tibe and class ab 30watt 8 ohm and 55 in 4. Tätou think it will be good, only listen in low moderate volyme, 18m2 room and about 2 - 2.5 meter from them. Best regards Joakim

That’s a brilliant copy of the album. Tidal and Qobuz versions are crap in comparison. This album sounds amazing on the s3000s. Good to see you still blow the cobwebs out of them now and again. I thought they were just grill stands for the Evokes now. 😂 Your videos really inspired me to build my own system with these speakers and I’m so grateful. I still like to tune in just for the great music recommendations. Basically, if you listen to it on yours it normally sounds absolutely class on mine too! I mainly use Tidal or Qobuz, but all your recordings are always sound great for TH-cam videos. AirPlaying your videos to my S3000mkii via Mojo2+Poly always sounds great despite TH-cam and AirPlays limitations. All the very best!

I’m Airplaying this to EDIFIERS3000MKII (brought recently largely due to your videos, thanks!) via a Mojo2 + Poly Dac and streamer running mojo2s custom dsp. Sounding great! I bet those evoke 50s sound a damn sight better, though! 👍👍👍

Hi nick, I just wanted to say a big thank you! Your videos have actually helped me out a lot. I subscribed a while back. I wanted a music only system(first in 20yrs) and I won’t be able to upgrade it in the future. Thanks to your videos and comments, I ended up going with: S3000PROMKII and matching stands Mojo2+Poly DAC, headphone amp and streamer. S.M.S.L PO100PRO DDC Xduoo tube preamplifier Audioquest cinnamon usbc and optical cables Audioquest golden gate rca and NRGZ2 power cables Ifi power2 low noise power supplies and a Tacima power conditioner. It sounds pretty awesome! I use it for streaming from tidal or listening to high res flac files stored on a 1TB SDcard. I made a cable management system, and I used picture hanging strips to mount the components to the back of the stand. There’s no visible cables or components. It’s a bit of a sleeper. People do not expect the sound that comes out of them. This system has already brought me lots of joy! Thanks again! All the very best!

Hi have the Harlechs s2 which still made in skipton North Yorkshire and have them hooked up to my Yamaha AS-1100 amp with the Yamaha cds-2100 cd player and sounds pretty amazing . I was told the castle Harlechs need a lot of power to see their true potential .

I’ve owned my S3000Pro MK1’s for 3 years now and use them for music and movies. Zero problems. For that use I just put them in Dynamic. They sound much more lively and airy at the top and still have good bass. Mine are on stands. Sitting 3.5 meters away in a 40 square meter room with vaulted ceilings they read 85db at only 60% volume so way powerful enough for most duties. I might add an SVS 3000micro sub in the future to release them from driving to frequencies below 80Hz but that would only be icing on the cake. It’s not vital. They already sound good enough. I’m European, but live in Asia. In EU the price is around 600-700 Euros? Over here the price is just RIDICULOUS at 380 EUROS a pair!!!! The only annoying thing with the MK1 is that you can’t tell what volume they are at easily when using the remote control as they don’t have a visual display showing the volume level from 1 to 50? You have to turn them down to zero using the remote, then count the blinks on the front LED as you slowly increase volume. I think the MK2 uses an app to control EQ/DSP/volume, so a big improvement in functionality over the MK1. If they had a sub out and bass management in the app you might as well forget about KEF LS50II’s. They are 4-500% more expensive without the expensive KEF stands! Edifier might rule the world if they did the decent thing and brought out a MK3 with those added features! If I wanted an amazing system today in 2024 for music and 2.1 movies that will blow anything out of the water worth 3000 + Euros I’d go for the S3000PRO MK2’s and also the brand new WIIM Ultra wireless DAC. It has sub out with bass management AND ROOM CORRECTION! Amazing functionality with their app and constant improvements with regular updates. All that for 350 Euros!!!! Add an SVS 1000Pro sub and you have a whole wireless system for around 1600 Euros. You just won’t find better until you start spending multiple thousands. Highly recommend.👍
