Hi, I really do both, in this case it was a shore dive. In this dive I did not go beyond 17m. Reefs can only be accessed by boat, due to safety and sea currents. What makes you ask this question?

Thanks, sometimes I catch octopus, but never crayfish, or lobsters as we call them here. Sometimes I see slipper lobsters.

It was a good start sized fish at 1kg

This blue runner was a 1kg fish, a decent size when considering that the biggest specimens are not more than 4kgs. And right now we have them in huge numbers.

The Salvimar watch I had had the option to set the beep every 5m. It was very handy but it would scare fish

@@drusfishingmalta my SEAC bips on depth that I set, funny thing, I only noticed it on my videos, I can never hear it under water, water in ears, wetsuit. Good shout about that scaring fish, need to switch it off, since I can’t hear it.

True, I would have probably hit with my invert but not sure if the shaft would have gone through because of the distance.....

​@drusfishingmalta I've used both guns but prefer the invert a hundred times over the pneumatic. Much more precise.

I did not go below 15m in Greece! There were empty spots, but in others it was exceptional.

My shortest gun, the invert roller 85

I am not sure. The murkiness was at the thermocline at about 13m of depth. The top layer was pretty clear. It was very bad for visibility but you can ambush fish better.

Yes ot could be, the bait fish are fond of whatever it is.

The first pair as 16s and they have mechanical advantage because they are on pulleys. The second 2 pairs are 14s. The invert roller has also the advantage of using the full stretch of the elastic over the whole length of the gun.
