That guy "singing" is terrible. Why on earth do they let him sing? Let me guess... he's the pastor? And the backup singers are also off-key and flat. Like the Holy Spirit, I would run out of that church covering my ears because of the terrible singing. Thankfully the drummer is shielded from everything happening on the stage at that church. If there were another Republican church shooter, he would still be protected by the bulletproof, shatterproof shield. Yes, I said it's a STAGE, because to them, really bad singing is "worship"... I just heard a really bad note from the bass. But, is it worship? I think "churches" that have stages where they "perform" their church service is really weird. The stage is also where they do all things that they think are sacred, but they make it common by doing it in front of a live audience. It is a performance, it is entertainment, a side show at a carnival, a career choice. The revival tents did the same thing, traveling around doing "tricks" for their audiences. The better the performance, the more people will come to be entertained, the more money they collect. And, if they have cameras, they can bring in even more money to their pastor so he can build a bigger and better church and a bigger and better house with better cars.. and maybe a private jet. It's entertainment. Do you want to be an actor (or a salesman) when you grow up? No? But you must, you're such an entertainer and always seeking attention.

@@Decertator ah okay, well I was just wondering since my drumline needs some more cadences to play around with, no worries man. Tenor playing is going well, if you remember I'm that guy you helped out with some tips on the instrument in this comment section about 4-5 months ago
@@rawhidelamp If you want some good cadences I recommended going to marchingmusicde's channel. You can find free sheet music on their website. It might take a bit of searching though.

GoPro Hero 6 and there was a nice little clamp that grabbed onto the center of the harness

Quick question Mr. Decertator, how does one go about being good at tenors so that they can play them next year? Because auditions are kind of soon and id like to be able to play tenors, because they seem fun What im asking for here are tips if you have any Thanks
I am by no means a good tenor player, but if I could give you a few things to focus on: Playing zones Timing (play with a met) Diddle quality Quick and good transitions between drums (move at the elbow, don't flip your wrists) A good exercise to practice is to play triplets straight up and down at a tempo you are comfortable with and progressively push it as you become ready. Something along the lines of 3:25 Quick warning, tenors are heavy, so be prepared for your back to suffer
@@Decertator ah yes, the weight isnt much of an issue for me, i played bass 5 last season But as for the other things, ill be sure to keep those in mind, i couldnt thank you enough
@@Decertator ive been placed on tenors for a showcase or something, wore em for 2.5 hours yesterday and also learned a cadence, my back and legs are on fire but im sure ill get used to it. Thanks for the tips, my playing zones and movement between drums are much better now
