The worst street I have been to in Ph is RD Calo street in Butuan City on the island of Mindanao. By worst I mean filth, run down, human feces , from locals crapping on the street in front of you, woman,men and children. Rats in my room. A locals cooking rats and practically every girl on the street ( and city) hitting on me. One girl wanted to fk me right there on the street. Disgusting place. Plus the Abo Sayef and MILF Terrorists were just down the road about 2 hours away. Fk the PH mate, it's not worth it there. You are better off in Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia and Singapore. I lived in Asia for 20+ years working by contract in Universities and PH was the worst of the lot ( including Laos and Thailand) I ultimately wound up marrying a fine lady in Vietnam and still married to this day.

They are at least renovating it. Look at road on Soi 6 in Thailand… it’s horrible and there is no plan to renovate it.

Could the reason that Angeles City is a so called dump,stem from the influence from the sleazy foreigners that go there, taking advantage of the locals,especially the women. You have foreign naval bases there, and their personnel are there for a short time flashing their money around taking advantage of the naivety of the locals, never really taking the time ,or putting in any real effort to get to know,understand or bond with them , it’s just wham bam thank you mam, and move on to your next conquests.
