I hated having to wait a whole week to see the next episode.

When I first watched the movie on the big screen in '61, I thought it was the coolest picture ever made.

The only loophole in the series i never understood? Where on the Jupiter 2 did they keep the chariot?😮

Considering how big the Charriot was, where did they have room on the Jupiter 2 when they had to leave the planet?😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

This wasn't the Seaview from the movie this version has only one deck and one set of windows where the original had two levels and widows on both levels and didn't have the doors for the flying sub but prefer this version.

Thank you for refreshing this former little boy's wide eyed Irwin Allen wonderment for the projected future for 1970s and '80s. Beautiful mix of the original theatrical music soundtrack and the 'modern' c.g. visuals of those can be made at ones kitchen table. If Allen could see stuff like this now.

The Jupiter 2 Chariot may have been the inspiration to Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's U.F.O. S.H.A.D.O. Mobiles Combat Tractor Assault Vehicles.

Bad things always happened in the diving bell. I hated the diving bell. Loved the Flying Sub though!

This yellow ball would drop from the Seaview. And of course the cheap "hecho in Tawain" cable always snapped! That was always predictable when the diving bell was dropped!

Great work! Could you please do one of these for the Minisub? Its generally over looked since its place on the show was more or less taken by the Flying sub, but it was a cute, jaunty design , did what it was supposed to do and got blown up enough times for its efforts and is worthy of remembrance. Also, unlike the Flying sub and the Diving Bell it was actually in the original movie!Thanks!

I grew up watching this as a kid. Nowadays I consider this a prequel to Seaquest!
