That shouldn’t have lit explosively like that.
It had been 4 years since it was fired up and had a lot of dust on the burns. I fired it up 5 or 6 more times after that, and it lit off smoothly after the first time. But I wanted to show it firing up after fixing it! Thanks for watching!

The assembly looks a little difficult to reattached. But I thought the video was helpful. Something to try before snakes and drain cleaner.
It can be a little tricky, it looks harder than it really is, but it does work!

Is it possible to change de angle of the valve, just to loose the nut of the compression valve,turn the valve of 90 Degres and tighten the nut with the same sleeve? Is it dangerous to leak?
If the water is on to the home and you loosen the compression nut, it will start leaking. However, if you shut off the water to the house and take the pressure off the water lines, you can loosen the nut and rotate the valve. Then, you can retighten the nut and it will not leak when you turn the water on to the house. I hope this helps you! Have a great day.
