Yeah MM3 is pretty rough. I'm definitely not good enough for that unless I spent a super long time at it.

Why don't you try to beat a classic mega man games from mm1 to mm6 or mm9, mm10, buster only speedrun without E-tank, death, and using items only when necessary there is a hole that cannot be jumped without items? My cousin has broken the time record in passing the mega man 3 game with buster only no death no E-tanks. Can you watch his video how he brokes the record in mega man 3, and subscribe his channel? In-character honestly

While the game isn't out yet, I'm honestly not sure if I like MaGMML3's weaponset as much as 48H's. I feel like Laser Trident, Magnetic Shockwave, and Magnet Beam are the only good weapons. The others feel a little weak. That said, 3 will also have alter weapons which I hear will be very based.

@@GniefFiar we've also got some other good ones like thunder beam, break dash, ice wall, and spark chaser. i guess i feel like more than half of the weapons should shine in the next one, since you're pretty much going to only use half of the arsenal in this game :P on another note, which game's arsenal is your favorite? i think magmml2 has the best of the bunch, especially when the alter weapons come into play.

True, I think I'm maybe looking at it in the lens of speedruns too much. I don't expect a good chunk of 3's weapons to be too useful for that. As for best weaponset, I think it'd go, 2 > 48H > 1R > 3 > 1 > 24H. 3's placement might change depending on the alter weapons.

@@GniefFiar yeah, i certainly don't think 48h has a bad set, but everything besides flame mixer, rain flush, salt water and homing sniper just seems outclassed and situational in combat. i'm glad 1r exists, since the original is just so messy. but yeah, i'm not really looking into how they work in speedruns, moreso just how they work against fighting enemies and what types do more damage to what. the damage system actually makes sense for these games, i appreciate it.

I don't think there were invisible walls in OESL, it's just that Punk is incapable of offscreening himself like this. A boss offscreening itself is an oversight on the part of the level's creator. The game devs generally don't change parts about entry stages unless they crash the game or something.

@@GniefFiar the wiki actually states that when the level was submitted, the punks flew offscreen and never returned, causing the stage to become unbeatable, so the invisible walls were added in the final game and the stage got hit with a functionality penalty.

@@ftnatsu77 Huh. Didn't know that. Neat. That is odd then. I wonder what happened to the failsafe where they kill themselves when off screen. Maybe it doesn't work unless they're falling off screen?

@@GniefFiar who knows. the funniest offscreen death in my opinion has to be the aforementioned iron ball, but having air man fall down the pit in windy conditions is the best one to pull off.

I'm glad these 9 hours can be put to good use.

Do you have more details on that by any chance? Could be useful time save.

@@GniefFiar I was just doing the Mega Arena normally. I didn’t want to bother finding out the weakness for the boss so I did M Buster only, I think I killed the last one with a semi-charged shot. It played the dialogue before this second phase, background changed and everything, but no health bar appeared and shortly after it acted like I won. I don’t remember very much, sorry.

@@GniefFiar No problem, don’t be surprised if you don’t find anything though. To me personally it seems like one of those rare glitches that happen completely by chance.
