Was looking for this for my E60. you did like a pro. Thumbs up dude. And thank you. The rubber seal can be reinstalled with less difficulty by spraying silicone lubricant on the edge of the b-Pillar trim where it meets with the seal and also on the seal rail.

Uhhh guys.... you can't just jack up the rear the whole car needs to be level for the oil to flow out at proper level. Technically doing it with rear jacked up you are overfilling it.

Hi mate.. What is the best way to change Diff fluids, do flushing(open the bottom bolt@drain bolt) or just bolt level(like what you done)?

Very helpful video. Had to do the same on both sides of my F31 and your video showed me the way. The F-series has 4 screws rather than 3, but that's all. I used a little wash lube to re-seat the rubber, but that was all. Many thanks.

I thought you were gonna show us how to replace the entire b pillar itself cause i need to do that. I just reversed my car out of the garage and the front door was open and i kinda crashed the door into a wall so my door pillar got totally bent. Luckily the door hinges or the window didn’t break but the door looks like shit right now. So I think I have to get a new door.

Do you have to fart as you top up with new oil?

Reinstalling the rubber seal is a bit easier after wiping the back side with a mild soapy solution... a couple drops of Dawn and water mixed will do the trick
