We went to an amazing resort in Ft. Lauderdale!

After disembarking the Majesty of the Seas, we took a quick Uber ride over to the Pelican Grand Beach Resort in Ft. Lauderdale. We checked out the resort and our room, took in the view, and took a water taxi down to Las Olas Blvd to enjoy and amazing meal at Louie Bossi's! We hope you enjoy this room tour and vlog!

What floor is that on?
how much are the scooters to rent? How long do you get to use them for? How far from the hotel are the scooters? Also please tell me the restaurant that you went to that was over priced and food sucks so we make sure not to go there. lol My family and i are heading down to stay at the Pelican 1st week in April and we are definitely going to go check out Louie Bossi's. Also how much was the water taxi ride? Thanks and sorry for all the questions. lol
Are the pools open now?
If you haven't stayed at the Atlantic Hotel and Spa yet, do it. Get an ocean view sweet. Expensive, but worth every dime. It doesn't have to be ocean front, the ocean view is just as sick, trust me. You can always go to the roof for the full on ocean front experience, or just downstairs to the restaurant.
Great video! You have to share what camera/phone you used to shoot this? Love the clarity! Video was of great use, I've been thinking of this place for a pre-cruise for years.

Hi Josh - it was a pretty calm and quiet crowd. This resort is set away from the main social area, and its kind of perfect.

Hi Tabatha - I honestly don’t remember if all rooms had balconies, but we did pay for a great room on purpose
Sucks. We do business with Vietnam and we went to war with them. Cuba we can’t visit. Politics

How much was the snorkeling?
Hi. Thanks for the video. Headed there in a couple days. I was curious was phone and editing app/software you use for your videos. They are great quality for a cell phone!
If you’re headed there I’m confident you will love the place. We certainly did! I use my iPhone XS Max for recording my vlogs, and I edit in iMovie. I appreciate the compliment!

Yes! It’s a small ship and truthfully a little dated. When we made this video we did not yet know that it would not be headed to Cuba in the future. The ocean view rooms are fine, and deck 7 has easy access to fresh air!
@@Alan-om8vx We are booked for August and our first Royal Caribbean ship, I see the cabin is very small, how was the bed? Did you get a drink package? Do I need to bring some Mrs. Dash seasoning for the food?

Wow, all the colourful buildings are so beautiful! It looks like an amazing place to just walk around the streets and squares.
It absolutely was. And although cruising is no longer an option, there are other ways to travel to Cuba from the US - the time spent there from a cruise ship is barely enough to scratch the surface. Looking forward to going back one day!
I've been to Cuba numerous times (I have lost count) but have yet to go to Havana. Thanks for bringing me there :-)

Yankee Candle is a cool place to go..we enjoy going there..I love the castle area..the kids always have fun there..the villages are cool..especially the Halloween 1s..thanks for sharing.

I used to do daily but it became more of a burden than fun. Its so much work. Over the past year or so ive slowed down alot! Recently I took a 3 month break after attempting to do vlogmas. It was so nice to take a break. But my girls are nagging me to blog so I had to catch up on the vlogs I didn't edit. there was 13 in all. It was fun to reflect on those memories. My struggle with vlogging is being in public. I always feel so nervous and shy. but in the end im glad I do it because I have good memories. So now my goal as I attempt to get back into it is to vlog our fun adventures mostly on the weekend, and any random fun in between.
Great job man. I came here from a thread on #nosmallcreator. It’s good to get out of your comfort zone. It’s something I struggle with all the time but it’s the fun of the journey. Keep up the good work. Also just subbed.
