Yes. Fat necrosis is a thing, but we do fat grafting to other places than the butt and people don't complain about those surgeries having a smell so we can't really blame fat necrosis.

@@drkaypee I disagree. Do you have a reasonably sound alternative argument that would resolve the not so mysterious stench? You're a doctor after all..... don't tell me the degree was useless :)

Hi there. I completely understand the frustration. I would start by googling 'what's my skin type'. You'll probably find a quiz or two that may seem silly, but will help you hone down on what your skin type is. From the sounds of it so far, it sounds like you might be combination skin. Then google 'South Korean skin products' and you'll be somewhat bombarded with a lot of available products for your skin type. If you want to start anywhere, at least do a double cleanse of your face and invest in a nice generic brand of a retinol-based product. Just these three steps alone will get you closer to where you want to be. I'm 41! and started probably about 6 years ago when I started getting acne again as a mid-30 year old. I hope this helps.
