Jesus isn't the son of god or the messiah: Davidic Descent: The Messiah is expected to be a descendant of King David (Jeremiah 23:5, Isaiah 11:1). Jesus' genealogy is traced through Joseph (his legal father), but Jewish tradition does not accept this lineage as valid for Davidic descent since Joseph was not his biological father. The Messiah is expected to gather the Jewish exiles and restore the Jewish people to the land of Israel (Isaiah 11:11-12, Ezekiel 37:21-22). This has not occurred in the manner expected by Jewish tradition. Universal Knowledge of God: The Messiah is expected to bring about universal knowledge of God and observance of the Torah among all peoples (Isaiah 11:9, Jeremiah 31:33-34). This has not been realized in the centuries following Jesus' ministry. Messianic Prophecies Not Fulfilled by Jesus: Peace and Justice: The Messiah is expected to bring an era of peace, justice, and prosperity (Isaiah 2:4, Micah 4:3-4). This has not been achieved since Jesus' time. Rebuilding of the Temple: The rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem is anticipated in messianic times (Ezekiel 37:26-28, Ezekiel 40-48). There has been no such rebuilding following Jesus' ministry.
