I do think you're being a little judgmental when it comes to how upset Marissa was by the breakup. It didn't feel "teenage" to me at all, just real heartbreak. In her words, this was the worst heartbreak she had ever experienced. Crying uncontrollably is a normal response. Millions of people just don't usually get to watch people experience those fresh emotions.

I do somewhat agree on more intense background checks being a little over the top, but I think they should do a full dive onto the contestant’s social media, especially if they make it past early stages of casting. And at that time Tyler would have had his children on his social media, but that also raises the question of when should the producers step in, because someone on that set had to have known about the 3 kids. Someone had to have known this man was lying through his teeth and stood by, it’s a show with a decent budget :/

Alex talked with his parents for four hours. Her being tired so often could be an indicator of depression or a sign of an auto immune disease which we know that both parents have. So possibly multiple sclerosis but that's also a symptom of fibromyalgia and lupus that have not yet been diagnosed. She also had work outside of filming

Hannah is immature and mean spirited. There is no self reflection going on with her. She seems to think very highly of herself. Im only half way done with episode 11 and i want her to be humbled so badly.

Hannah is abusive as hell. If Nick commented on his weight the way she does and as often as she does about his height and purposely made her feel inadequate at every chance there would be outcry. The outright gaslighting and embellishment of events, putting him in uncomfortable positions as a means of propping herself up and lack of decency, privacy or tact when discussing their relationship to their peers is astonishing.

My take: Stephen: i think he went on the show to get IG following and have access to women through "fame". He has been off from the beginning, always making sexual explicit comments, he has pushy or almost SA Monica (with the anal thing when she never gave her consent). Even at the flower shop thing, during his interview he said "some guys will give flowers to get sex, of course it is nice to get rewared when you do something nice" 🤮🤮🤮🤮. This guy is digusting, doesn't understand consent, that women don't owe him sex. - Ramses: very funny because he seems like the opposite of Stephen, but I also think he is quite sexist and that Mariassa owe him sex. He keeps saying he is progressist and rejects genders role, and "he would never tell her to go on birth control and what to do with her body", but he kinda gives her no choice. And he put on the balance his pleasure and the legitimate resistance from her to impact her body. I am not saying hormonal birth control is horrible, but it is totally her right and her call to take it or not. It does have impact, everyday. And he puts the whole thing on her. Also in general he is very condescending with her. The comment about the Barbie movie, he made fun of her because it was her entry point to feminism. Man, if you are an ally as you love to say, 1) dont pressure her to get on birthcontrol so you can have better vaginal penetration (and also sex is not only about penetration, so maybe he should get updated on feminist discourse), 2) don't mansplain her feminism and 3) support her getting on this journey, even if you disgagree with the movie. You can point her to other movie that you think she could like next. And 4) dont be with her if you think she doesn't have the same value. The guy is here being all ethical but has no problem having unprotected sex with (and he didnt share his STI status) but he is judging her on all her ethical position.
