How to make fishing sinkers with Do It molds

This is a how to video to make lead sinkers.
What seat is that that you added?
I am pretty sure the e-mail displayed won't work for you....Google displaye the wrong address... maybe the I can be freached by Cletus Tetford...happy boating..
Great video...I wish I could share with you the discoveries I made with my 2072 CC sportsman...if you like to hook up there is a lot Ican share with you...Steve
Great job, any chance I can pay you to make one of those bench seat rod holders, I have the exact same boat and 48in bench seat
I need to know the price
great video, where did you get the seat?
Thanks for the great review, I like the boat, looking into a purchase & this helps!
Nice set up.
What seat and brace is that
The seat is made from a company out in Texas called Tempress. Really good quality seat. I made the rod rack for it.
Question I have the same boat and after seeing your video I tracked down that awesome bench seat. Have not received it yet. My question is how did you mount it? Did you have to remove the cover to the fuel tank?
On the bottom of the seat there is 1/2” thick plastic base, I took the gas tank hatch off and used stainless screws to screw it down to the hatch. After that I screwed the hatch back in the boat. I think I put 8 screws in total. Definitely is a sold setup!
Can you please tell me where you got that bench seat? I just bought a 2024 grizzly tracker 2072 and the cushion blew off 😅
Whew that sucks! That’s an expensive cushion too! I got the bench seat from Tempress. It’s a company out in Texas, very well made seat. I am very happy with it
SC shoutout!
Hey did the aftermarket seat come from BassPro? is it a Tracker accessory?
Hey, nope it is not from bass pro. I got the seat from a company called Tempress. It is a well made seat, I am very happy with the quality of it.
I like the improvements. If you pin bottom of bench seat frame with a rail beside it you can easily take it off very easily
Really perfect setup for me down south Alabama, thanks for the info.
Absolutely! Thanks for watching
I am interested in the seat back rest you made, how much?
Is it for a 48” bench seat and how many rod holders would you like on it? Do you live around Charleston SC? If not I’ll let you know shipping cost as well.
I live in Jacksonville, NC. I was looking at the same seat as you. And I think 4 rod holders would work.
@@andrewbarnum7856 If you don’t mind can you shoot me a email at KNIronworks@yahoo.com and I’ll send you a quote. Thanks
How does it do like jetty fishing is it to rough?
Gotta pick your days for sure. I always have my two sons with me (7 and 4 year old) so if it’s gonna be real rough out I choose not to go. I just stay inland. But I have been out there number of times and been fine.
Please tell about the towing. Thank you!
The boat tows very good. I would recommend the dual axle trailer. I’ve had the boat almost two years now and no issues with wheel bearings or anything like that. Only one downfall, when you are backing up with the boat the brake actuator engages and starts locking up brakes. I kept having to put pin in to disable brakes. I eventually kept the pin in and left them disabled all the time. Boat is not that heavy for breaks. Launching is no problem, when unhooking winch hang on to handle the boat slides a little and the handle will grab you. Retrieving is good, as long as you get the boat inside the two guides the boat will center up every time.
I Appreciate it .
I need to get a welding bench/fab station set up like you have. To hell with buying the chinese garbage, especially when a guy can build it himself! Good work bro
Thanks man I appreciate that! I couldn’t agree with you more
Yes make some fishing videos, we understand family and work that’s first. But I think you have the right temperament for making fishing videos as in your last video’s that I seen. What is your fish of choice, or are you un all species kinda guy? I’m sorry I kinda got carried way here, when time allows go for it you will do great. Thank you for letting me ramble on and I will see you next time
We do all species of fish. We do salt water, fresh water, shrimping, gigging, limb lining. Prefer shallow water red fishing is our go to. I do need to start marketing the stuff for the boat, I have a lot of people ask about it. I need to make some more videos of some fishing and more boat upgrades I got done. I appreciate the comments. Sorry it took a couple weeks to reply back.
Great video, looks to me like you need to market those upgrades. I think you would do great! One stop shop
I like to fish Santee Cooper is why I’d like a rail to put lights on a 2072 I’m not interested in the bow deck that’s available
I haven’t looked for a bow rail light setup for the boat. I been thinking of making one for mine. It would be very convenient to have one, especially in the versa-track so it would be removable.
@@kraemersfishing4336 totally agree have you thought about a Jack plate my buddy has the same boat same set up and he gained about 5 mph on top
Jack plate you can get motor up more when running on plane you can run in less water like 10 inches or less
@@Outdoors_with_kg4muk_Wayne I have not, but that is a great idea. I’m going to have to look into that.
Is there a hand rail available for the front to put lights on and still use a trolling motor
I used these with the Team Catfish weight slides to make a th-cam.com/users/postUgkxdmsDj7fQXe77DC0l7P7ua8B3PiESUubM Carolina rig and they were perfect for the ponds I fish. I have also used them to make 3 way rigs and these work perfectly. Haven't had any issues with them snagging in rocks or in weeds yet.
Thanks! Do it sinker molds make a good sinker
Love the bench seat I got the 1860 with a 90hp .I'm going to look for the bench seat for sure .nice rig
Thanks man I appreciate it. Check out Tempress, that’s who makes my bench seat. Very nice quality
I really like your setup. I'm picking my new 2072 up tomorrow from Berkeley outdoors. I'll definitely be borrowing some ideas, especially with the seat/rod rack!
Nice! Your gonna love it! I got more stuff done I need to post a new video. Are you local around the Summerville/Charleston area?
@@kraemersfishing4336 yessir, Summerville. My old boat is an old 12ft Sears that I built to be like a little bass boat. I'm super pumped to have all the new deck space.
@@jeSuperfly it’s definitely going to be a big upgrade for sure! It will fish three comfortable. We do shrimping, gigging, fishing, scalloping and family swimming days out of it. You will love it. I’m in Summerville also
@@kraemersfishing4336as per my earlier comment about your upgrades that you did there is a market for them, theres always going to be bass trackers out there. You have something of Value that people need. You have your foot in the door way and that’s a very good start and you have what people need. If I can just bolt it on instead of making it how easy is it for me👍. Just remember you have something of Value here there will always be people for that.
Hell yea bout to order mine from there!!! Live in canebay
Nice rig
Thank you!
How is the boat for fishing on salt water
I fish salt water all the time. I fish what we call the back country in the marsh for reds, trout and flounder. I trim motor up and use trolling motor I can get less than a foot of water. I also do shrimping and crabbing with it too. If I get stuck in rough water I trim up to get bow high and do 15-20mph. It will be a little bit of a rough ride but never felt like I was in trouble.
@@kraemersfishing4336 thank you for the info
Could the boat take a 200 mercury pro xs
Max hp boat rated for is 150. Boat does great with a 150 roughly around 50mph with two people and some gear.
Lil guy thinks your splashing is food
What hp motor do you have and how fast could you go?
I have a Mercury 150 four stroke. The boat will do around 50-52 depending on if I’m loaded heavy or not. I normally run about 4000-4500rpm would be about 35mph or so.
Is there enough room for you to put the spare tire mount on top of the center rail and mount your tire laying down in the space between the trailer rail and the bottom of the boat? If so the it would be tucked out of the way
There is enough room, I honestly didn’t even think of putting it there. I already made the mount for the side, I might make one more for when I go on long trips I can carry two spares.
@@kraemersfishing4336 sounds like a good idea. Yeah that space was the first thing I noticed, just couldn’t tell for sure from the video how much room there actually was.
Hi where did you order bench seat?
I ordered it through a company called Tempress. Very good quality seat.
Did you make the black round bar support behind the seat that rod holders are mounted to or did you buy it?
I made it out of 1/2” schedule 40 pipe. I’m not sure if anybody makes it or not I just had the idea in my head. I still gotta add more rod holders, four is not enough.
Great video. Any way you made two of those seat back rests?
I built another but my brother got it for his boat. Are you wanting to get one?
Is that seat vinyl or cordura? Which material would you recommend?
The seat is vinyl. Never had a cordura fabric seat. I spay 303 fabric protectant on the vinyl every month or so to keep it conditioned and UV protection. Never had a problem with vinyl.
Nice boat man really wanna see that trolling motor and battery switch upgrades!
I’ll post another video soon
How well does that boat handle rough water?
Been in some rough water 3-4 foots. Trimmed motor to get bow up and did about 15mph. It was a rough ride but I never felt like the boat couldn’t handle it.
@@kraemersfishing4336 good to hear thank you
That's secret as by bad weather er r 15vmoh boat walking speed bow hogh
The brench seat that u have it comes with all the hardware and bracket to install it right. Thanks.
Hey Jeffrey, no it doesn’t come with anything to mount it. Seat is from a company called Tempress. The bottom of the seat is hard plastic. I took the gas tank hatch off, screwed the seat to the hatch then installed the hatch back into the boat. I used stainless screws with 5200 marine glue on the screws to help prevent screws from getting loose.
I’m planning to get this boat. But I heard alot negative stuff like bad welding , transom fail , leaking….. stuff like that. How’s urs?
I heard the same things, but I believe it is the older models. I’ve had mine for a little over a year and I have had no issues at all. I run the boat a lot, been in some pretty rough conditions and nothing stands out to me that is bad. My brother has the same boat grizzly 2072 for 7 years now. His has no issues either and everything is still performing great other than normal wear and tear. Taking his boat out so much I ended up buying same one cause I liked the durability. I wouldn’t hesitate at all. Your gonna love the boat
@@kraemersfishing4336 Appreciate. Thank you 🙏🏻
How did you mount the seat? I bought the same seat but there’s no way to mount it.
On the bottom of the seat there is hard plastic. I took off the gas tank hatch and screwed the seat to the hatch then screwed the hatch back down.
Who makes the seat?
A company called Tempress. Very nice quality seats.
The best thing about this review is including your sons by far! My son and I also do everything together. Dude is literally my best friend 😂. We have a ProDrive cc so we get to do a lot of different stuff in that boat all of which is exciting!
Wouldn’t change it for the world! Those two boys are always out on the boat with me doing stuff. A ProDrive would be cool, I see them all the time but never been in one.
@@kraemersfishing4336 they are extremely fun! They not fastest thing in the water but they are the next best thing to an airboat.
Do you know the height of that Bimini? Thanks 👍
The Bimini is a 4 Bow 8'L x 54"H x 91"-96"W
@@kraemersfishing4336 Thanks, man. 👍 Good looking boat! I have a Lund Predator. I have a video of it, but I haven't posted anything since I've done all my upgrades. I'll probably post something new once it gets back from getting serviced.
Nice I’ll have to check it out. You getting yearly service done? I was gonna have my dealer I bought the boat from do mine (warranty purpose), they wanted a little over $500. So I ended up doing it myself just kept the receipts.
@@kraemersfishing4336 I'm having my 20hour service done. I brought it to an authorized Merc dealer so it's in the Mercury records nationwide for warranty.
Who built the seat for you?
A company in Texas called Tempress built the bench seat. Really nice quality seat. I built the rod rack around the seat.
Where did you find the bench seat with backrest?
The seat is from company called Tempress. I believe they are out in Texas. It’s a really nice and well made seat. For the backrest/rod rack I made that.
Awesome video. Dude that seat and rod holder is fantastic. Great work. Keep the videos coming.
Thank you I appreciate it!
Could you use this boat in salt water as a bay boat or small water boat? Would you say that this boat is a glorified Jon boat, from what you say you use it in fresh and salt water.
I use this boat in salt water about 70% of the time I take it out. I normally run back in the marsh and sight fish for reds, trout and flounder. I also go in the harbor and fish for bull reds and shrimp out of it. It is a flat bottom boat with only a 7 degree dead rise so on rougher days in the inlet wouldn’t be as comfortable ride as a deep v. I trim the motor up a little to get bow up. I have always been fine and I been in some rough water.
How did you mount the seat?
The seat has a hard plastic bottom. I took the gas tank cover off and screwed the seat to it then screwed the cover back on.
@@kraemersfishing4336 thanks looks really good been wanting to get away from the cushion and you have my answer.
Thanks man
Nice boat . Is there an option for a front light bar and how thick is the bottom ?
Tracker did not offer a light bar. The dealer I went through did ask if I wanted any add ons to the boat and the dealer would install. They also said they can add into loan. Not sure if every dealer does that or not. .100” 5052 aluminum
