THIS MAN COULD ABSOLUTELY, POSETEVELY, SING THE BEST. HE WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST.
OHHHHHH, YESSSS SO BEAUTIFUL AND AWESOME. HELLO, LISTEN AT THESE BEAUTIFUL TRUE WORDS.
this guy is cooking
the man's got a point- burning your draft cards down on main street is NOT OK.
Best version of the song I have heard. Very nice.
For me the best version by a female Martina McBride and by a male Ray Price. Go listen to both and tell me that I'm wrong.
Oh my not as good as Porter or my daddy
Love this song

Wonderful !
Great song but Jerry Lee Lewis version is the greatest by far
LOVE IT!!!!
I've been searching for that song for a long time. All I remembered was the title and the singer.Rather sentimental but deeply moving. Thanks for uploading.
Sweet sweet Molly
This was my Mom's favorite song. She was such a gentle person.
Älskar Mona Wessman ❤️
A sad, so sweet song, story. Makes your heart sing to know that he had went away to war, but was blessed to come home to his loving wife and child. Would be a beautiful story line for a movie. A real story, real feeling. No special effects, no computer enhancement. Eddy does such a wonderful job, as always.
The lyrics are heart-wrenching and sad, but Eddy's gentle, enveloping voice and quiet guitar sound soothes.
Is he the one performing? So nice to hear the songwriter sing his own song 😊
L♡VE,BEST VERSION🕺🏻💯 ❤THX CATLOVER🎶
so terrific someone put this artist up.
It's my own upload 👍
My precious doggy was named Molly by my hubby because of his great love for this song..
Origiinally recorded in 1962 by Bobby Goldsboro. Great song by both artists.
Eddys version is 100% better :)
@@Catlover7844 Bobby Goldsboro borrowed this song from Eddy's version and itinerary that was put out in the '50's..or 40's. Eddy's version is so much more heartfelt

Helt underbar vacker låt. Tattare rank i Tving
Kärt minne från Solstollarna :-)
There is no one like Harlan Howard! Same for Floyd Tillman.
Awesome. A true classic. However, I’m partial to Buck Owens version.

Recorded in 1963. This is a civil war song. A soldier returns home to his wife and son, blind. There was a longer version, but was pulled. Thanks for the post Catlover. You came along just when U-TUBE pulled their copy.
Bara bästast ...
Anyone know of a CD of Harlan's with C'mon Home Boy?
The song is on the album "Harlan Howard sings Harlan Howard"

Wow, what a classic! I am always amazed at the old style of these old songs.
They're not old--just 10 or 15 other singers have covered them since 1965! These songs get better with age.
Is he ever good. I would love to see a video of him performing this.
terrific Share
