Miss this era honestly. New music is still good but Absolution Era was something I wish I could of seen
I saw them twice during absolution era. The sound they had back then was something else. It’ll never be beaten or even matched. Matt needs to play more guitar and piano these days. I feel Muse have lost their sound and identity on stage a bit now.
Like it’s all muscle memory now and easy to not bother. Plus they’re older and probably more tired

I believe that this was the second Muse song that I was exposed to-the first being, Neutron Star Collision-and with Blackout, I was brought (willingly) closer into the world of Muse. “This life's too good to last.”

Amazing!! They have gone past their peak for sure. Not writing ability wise, but energy wise. I'd love to see Matt sing that slide on the last "In the air" and the full belted notes which such strength these days, but it just wont happen. Still, they put on a hell of a show still

I'm normally into the faster versions, especially Cave, Minimum and Munich Jam (especially when Chris plays the last part so fast that Dom is pushing insanely hard to keep up), but this version is just right! I've always felt like the jams are riffs that go so damn hard that you can't really build a song around them. And yeah, there's definitely a limit to how much orgasm is fun 😆 I got back into Muse massively on the Drones tour, they played Munich Jam live, but I'm not sure they play Osaka Jam any more... I can dream of the day!

+Packercat17 'Live at the Mayan' in LA set is frickin' amazing. Imo their best setlist and quality in the past couple of yeara..Bliss outro solo is wooooow man. Love the modern tweaks they do with SMBH and the rebirth of 'Assassins' freaking crazy!

Muse played two concerts are Earls Court- the 18th and 19th of December 2004. The one from the Absolution Tour DVD is from the 19th. This is from the 18th of December.

naaah man it's just an appearance I guess In fact Omar's really dedicated to music and he doesn't seem to be to much proud of himself ;) He mentioned a lot of times various musicians as well which he consider as a better technical than him so I don't think he's sel-satisfied kind of person :)
