Flexible titanium removable plate for 3D-printer's heatbed facilitates printing's unstick

Adhesion and unsticking of parts is a well known and basic problem in 3D-printing. After several attemps to find an optimum solution, my personnal research led me to use a titanium plate covered with kapton. The flexibility of the titanium, combined with the adhesion of the kapton layer (heated to 60°C) allows to print without any raft, and to unstick easily the part by slightly bending the plate.

      Bonjour Frédéric. Il s'agit de la monture OpenAstrotech. Pour pouvoir l'utiliser au niveau de l'équateur, il faudrait que le fer à cheval soit vertical. Pour ce faire, la position du support de l'axe arrière, ainsi que celle des roulement doivent être modifiées pour en faire une monture alt-azimutale.

    Wouldn't the alignment be off when it's not directly centre over the polar scope?. I am able to buy a adapter that attaches to the 3/8 screw on the declination bracket but that's not centred

      As the stars are very very very faraway, it just needs to be paralell to the RA axis.

      Bonjour, Concernant le prix du kit, voir sur les sites qui le proposent à la vente. Exemple : www.astroshop.de/fr/m,openastrotechµ La monture est trop petite pour accepter un tel télescope. Ok pour un téléobjectif 135mm ou 200mm, voire une lunette de courte focale (360mm).

      Hello, Only parallel axes are required. No need to have strictly co-linear axes.

      Hello, You can run the tracker with you computer (use a USB cable). I run my trackers with Stellarmate installed on a RPi4.

      The Polemaster shall be attached firmly to the mount, with its axis parallel to the one of the mount's RA. The rotation of the RA of the mount (with the Polemaster attached to it) is a part of the stationing procedure.

      ​@@woldsweather Dear Trevor, The perfection doesn't exist. This adapter ensure the axis of the Polemaster to be parallel enough to the Star-Adventurer RA axis for an acurate stationing.

      Merci fifi filou, Depuis cette vidéo, j'ai ajouté un boitier RPi4 avec Stellarmate intallé dessus. Connecté à la carte du tracker, cela donne un joli joujou pilotable en wifi depuis un ordinateur portable ou une tablette, bien au chaud depuis le salon, alors que l'engin est dehors. Autoguidage et prises de vues compris.

    How do you pick the diameter you want for the heq dovetail? There are two options 36mm and 39mm .

      @@mittendj I have a HEQ5 Pro and have purchased a QHYCCD adapter to attach my Polemaster on it. The QHYCCD adapter dedicated to HEQ5 is 36mm diameter. On my Star-Adventurer+L-bracket, I use a 36 mm diameter 3D-printed adapter, so I can attach my Polemaster on my HEQ5 or my Star-Adventurer+L-bracket. My 3D-printed adapter is dedicated to a specific QHYCCD dovetail's diameter. The 39mm QHYCCD dovetail will not fit my 36mm 3D-printed adapter. The 36mm QHYCCD dovetail will be too small to be tighten by my 39mm 3D-printed adapter. I hope this explanation will help. Best regards

The last time I shared such a 3D printable file, a guy made a commercial use of my original design (selling 3D printed parts based on my original design) without my authorisation. You may understand that I do not accept such a behavior, and that I don't want to take once more such a risk. Moreover, I have created my own "little company", to make myself a commercial use of my original designs. In this fully legal context, I pay all the taxes related to this kind of activity. Just for your information, the net income of this activity is used to fund the studies of my two daughters (both at the master degree, respectively in cyber security and digital design).       Bonjour Dominique, C'est berceau imprimé 3D avec une queue d'aronde inférieure de type Manfrotto 577 ou Vixen ou ArcaSwiss ou Losmandy, tout dépend de la platine de fixation qui est fixée sur l'axe de déclinaison de votre Star-Adventurer.

      A software is provided with the polemaster when you purchase it. Just run it, and follow the alignment procedure.
