Celebrity Millennium Cruise part 6 - we loved visiting Hakodate. I fell in love with Lucky Pierrot's (delicious burgers, sandwiches and such). We visited Mt Hakodate Observatory, but it was a bit overcast. The fish market was great, with fresh seafood (we ate scallops, uni, squid and snow crab congee). There were so many churches! We visited the Russian Orthodox Church. Wish we could have staye...
Big Island Hawaii Vacay video album 2 (Kona Village Resort)
มุมมอง 230หลายเดือนก่อน
The next half of our Big Island of Hawaii Vacay was spent at Kona Village Luxury (Rosewood) Resort. This was rebuilt from the tsunami that destroyed the old resort back in 2011. It took a long time to rebuild this resort. It’s a beautiful resort with private residences (Hales) and beachfront bars / restaurants and plenty of water activities (but make sure to make a reservation for the ones you ...

Our vacation to the Big Island of Hawaii. We visited a nice restaurant in Waimea called Merriman’s. We also went to Hilo to visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Par...

We took a guided excursion to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial and Museum as well as the beautiful island of Miyajima. We had a little bit of time left afterwards and ventured out to eat Okonomiyaki at a local food court in YouMe Town (and almost didn't make it back to the ship!!) Please hit the like butt...

After spending overnight in Osaka on our Celebrity Millennium Japanese vacay, we went on an excursion the next morning to visit Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine and Osaka Castle. We ate some Takoyaki from a vendor outside of Osaka Castle. The Osaka Junior Band gave our ship an awesome send off. Music by me: "we love Osaka"

Holy Mackerel!
Diver here since 1988 (I was 12) and this is AWESOME!! Those Great Barracudas are no joke!! Love this video so much!!!❤❤❤
Always something moving
Thank you appreciate you! My wife and I have some experience with snorkeling but definitely not pros. I like bringing my action cam to film and we were advised by the local guides to swim way out to a bait ball they had off the Mauna Lani beach. We did. I saw that giant barracuda's teeth and I tapped my wife and said let's get the hell out of here. Later I showed some locals what we saw and they gasped (they said we were lucky - yeah, lucky to be alive!)
Very nice! I read some bad reviews about this cruise (bad odors, old equipment, insufficient air conditioning in the summer, mediocre food for the price). Is this wrong?
I did not experience bad odors or insufficient air conditioning. The ship is indeed old, but it was refurbished in 2019. We ate at the specialty restaurants mostly, which were included in our suite package. We've been on a lot of cruises --- the food was ok, we were not expecting michelin quality food. If the opportunity afforded it, we would try to eat the local food after our excursions. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. My wife and I stayed in a suite so maybe our experience was different from others?
@@relaxingvacays thanks so much for all this info, Im seriously considering it. If you have time to answer one more question Id be grateful: how are the swimming pools, are they ok?
@@SoulmateParis No problem! The swimming pools are ok - The main pool deck can get crowded on sea days with DJ music, while the Solarium pool is adult only and less busy/noisy
@@relaxingvacays thanks so much! I would use the second option then. Cheers!
@@SoulmateParis We were on this cruise in April this year and I can honestly say it is the best cruise we have been on. Everything was perfect, from the warm welcome, amazing restaurants. food always fresh and inviting. if you only ever go on one cruise then this is the one.
so how much?
$400 total (250 for the meal, 150 for the premium sake pairing)
Just came back from my second trip to Japan. Things that really stood out to me: 1 cleanest country I have ever been in. No trash on streets and no garbage cans. Super polite and respectful people…everyone!!! 7/11 tuna salad sandwich, so delicious. I am desperately trying to replicate it for myself. SOGO department food court. OMG! So fresh, so good and reasonable prices. No road rage. I fact I did not hear a single horn, no dents in cars and vehicles stay a safe distance from each other. Of course the sights are amazing! I will Definitely return to Japan.
We’ve just left Millennium. Lovely ship and superb crew.
Agree! Hope you had a great time!
Nice video! I’m traveling to Japan at the Millennium as well so it gives me an idea of what to expect
I hope you have a great time!!
I’m so jelly! This is on my list of top places to visit in Japan! 🍜 Have you eaten your special, custom Cup O’Noodles yet?
Not yet but can’t wait to do so! Never had curry CUPNOODLES before!
welcome to Viet Nam ♥
Thank you so much!

Any zip lining in the area?
Unfortunately, no zip lining
Very impressive but confirms my thinking that 30fps is not the ideal frame rate for my eyes - 60fps for a smooth, buttery motion.
That room is so expensive, I've stayed at Jaya house and now I'm trying fcc
The ornate flycatchers were actually female tanagers. Otherwise impeccable!
Thank you
Excellent footage thanks for sharing. The booted racket-tail 🤩 I'm so looking forward to spending 3 months in Ecuador, soon!
Thank you and hope you have a great time in Ecuador!
Nice to see an Insta 360 video without a lot of rolls, speed ramps, etc. Great Job!

Can you tell me the name of the opening song in this lovely video ?
The artist is Emorie. The first song is "forever anyway" and the second song is "ocean."
@@relaxingvacays thank you so much but I can't seem to find forever anyway on Apple Music ..where can I find it ?
@@brianlucy513 I had to subscribe to Soundstripe.com (sorry sounds like it is only on that site)
@@relaxingvacays that's ok thank you
How fit do you need to be? Can anyone do this
"hill fit" - for me, having strength was more important than cardio for this one --- cardio was not as important except it was a bit of a long hike just to get to this via ferrata (the hike to get there was worse for me than the climb because I am not very cardio fit). Ideally, you should not be afraid of heights and you should be sure footed.
Sehr Schön
Danke!
Nice footage.Well done job!

Excellent video my friend, i already bye this camera
Thank you!!
Wow great videography. I wish I can learn some video editing.
Thank you so much! the first program I used to edit videos was iMovie (very simple program that has a lot of video tutorials on youtube and is very easy to use).
@@relaxingvacays oh is that thru iMovie? Wow I tried but it didn't turn out the way you produce it. Your work looks very pro. I will try to read up on iMovie. Thanks for the tips. Safe travel and keep recording more.
@@kongyusiau7626 Hi I first learned video editing with iMovie years ago. The program I used for this was Adobe Premiere Elements.

Hello excellent video ,I'm buying this drone this week , how is it to handle , I know it doesn't have any sensors, or gps how good is the signal ? Is it worth it? Thank you!!!
Thank you so much. I think for the price it is a good deal. It is easy to handle and does have good gps signal. I am a hobbyist so it was fun for just casual drone filming.
Nice video!
Thank you so much!
Wonderful video. I've always wanted to go there. What month did you go? If I ever get to go I want to do see all this. Was it alot of money to go?
Thank you so much! We went last month. This particular cruise was a Linblad - Nat Geo cruise called "exploring Alaska's costal wilderness" for 8 days. It can cost anywhere from 7200 to almost 12000 per person depending on what kind of cabin you choose.
@@relaxingvacays thank you so much. I had no idea. Wonderful video I enjoyed it very much. Thanks for sharing.
