Hey man u am having a hell of a time finding an oil filter. It looks to me like where the filter would normally be is the starter. Or is that not the case please lmk.i can't find a video anywhere .

If you're referring to which way I started it in my air rifle, I went that way because it worked. Starting from the top of the barrel down does not work as well.
What kind of oil? How much? What kind of filter? Bought mine used and can’t find info anywhere. Seems like no one on youtube has a 16.5HP b&g engine in their either
Hey brother I wish I could tell you. That was a long time ago and I've since gotten another one. If You look up a B& G mower I'm sure most of the oils are the same. I'm sorry I could not help you further. Think I got the filter on Amazon.

You better clean it in the direction of the pellet through the barrel.
Um, you forgot the hard part though. Getting that damn nut open in the first place. They put it behind the steering rod, like idiots, and it's square so I can't even figure out what size socket to put on it!

Correct me if I'm wrong ...CO2 does not leave a residue like a 22 LR. The Co2 does not heat up and leave lead in the barrel like a dirty 22lr will. Maybe friction of the lead against the barrel but that is about it. Oh, maybe oil and dust build up?
Yeah I am no expert but definitely would say natural oil and dust plus residue from the pellets depending on the type. Overall it will get dirty so it's nice to have something to clean it with.
That's a pretty ingenious idea. I am about to change mine for the first time and my idea was I snipped out a 1.5" x 6" piece of copper gauge metal and bent it around a broom handle to make a little trough. Seems to fit in place well.

Phillip Yes it comes with it so I can snake it down the line to clean. It's actually pretty nice.

Use gun oil
First time I opened up a cleaning kit lot like this I was lost too. It was for my Ruger and I had no idea what I was doing. Make it worst there was no you tube. I just ordered this kit and kind of wish I would have just used a traditional aluminum handle brush rather than the flexible cable. I guess it'll come in handy if I ever get a gun with a harder to reach chamber.

Shots not grouping are almost always the wind, the shooter or the pellet, or all 3, but rarely is it the gunk in the barrel. Use artillery hold. When you make a video, hold it horizontal so we can see more. is that a benjamin np2?
Very funny comments, i have the same problem, i say and write way faster than i think. I thought the same, but then i remembered i have seen hundreds of videos about how to clean barrels. Most of the time the experts say you dont ever need to clean your barrel since its not a real firearm. Unless you start seeing ur pellets wandering, like you said you did, then yes check it and clean it. Supposedly each pellet removes the previous pellets deposits and deposits his own. So just shooting actually cleans it. Also, most of the gunk people remove is actually the anti oxidant that pellet makers put on their pellets to prevent oxidation. I just bought a Diana 34 classic in .22, spring piston. After seeing hundreds of vids and almost going crazy it looks like this rifle may be the first and only one youll ever need, jajajajaja so they say. and the inst manual says run 2 soft cleaning pellets thru after 100 shots, then wait till 1000 shots to do a more further cleaning. go figure, many opinions out there, gets frustrating, but remember you almost always cant go wrong with the recommendations of the maker of the rifle. later bro
One should always clean in the same directions of the projectile if possible. (breech to crown) Which in this case, it is. The reason one wants to do this, is so the crown doesn't get damaged. The brass adapter can gouge, nick or scrape the crown causing damage. In doing so will cause inaccuracy and inconsistency. The crown of the barrel is the most important part of whole rifle. Just wanted to share this tip I learned years ago. Yes... I learned the hard way. Happy shooting.

How will this kit work on pump airguns
What is the barrel? It is fit for a .177 pellet? This is set to clean a .177 pellet barrel and a .22 barrel.
My umarex kit never came with the needle threads or wipes
I definitely like the cotton swab roll if you will. Not sure the technical name but whatever. The wipes don't seem to do much.

I also have a umarex cleaning kit. However mine never came with cloths or the 2 black adapters like the black one that you have attached on your 33" flexible cleaning rod. Btw I also have multiple .177 airguns

@@johnc5872 the sig sauer mpx. I'm also trying to get the sig sauer mcx both of them are. 177. They both have a 90 grain Co2 cartridge

You can use it for your pistol as well. I have the Sig X5 and the smaller one cleans it great!

Sorry so late. I thought I responded. My apologies. Yes it cleans any .177 or .22 caliber air rifle/pistol. I used it to clean my .177 Sig Sauer x5 which came out nice.
