Win Percy/Alan Grice👍 Holden Commodore👍
You beauty 💪🇦🇺
Beautiful bike...
Great sound! Did you upgrade also the control unit? Thank you!
Do you have the forward controls installed on it? Thanks for the video!
Bellissima un sound perfetto
Hahahaha! I love that the title is missing the “d” at the end of “Surprise.” Made it sound like you got a surprise wife who found a motorcycle. (Not trying to be an English police but just thought it was funny.
How much lighter is this than the stock exhaust?
So just a basic engine swap then?
Top.
Oh that’s tuff😍
The Two brothers slip on exhaust sounds better than this one, specially while its idling. But the arrow exhaust looks much better on the bike. Now I'm not sure which one to buy. Any thoughts?
Hi Eisho, mate go with your heart ! This sounds great when riding and hey, who lets a bike idle for ages ? Either way I'm sure you will be happy.
Will it sit on a 2019 model?
I have heard the tbr exhaust but tbh its way too expensive for the sound thats being made of a paralell twin engine. Your cheapest and most reasonable option is to buy the diablo exhausts made in thailand for the rebel 500. Paralel twins roughly all sound the same doesnt matter what the exhaust is. The diablo exhaust costs roughly $300
@@ahmadabboud1535 Vance and Hines is the best for the Rebel
Two brothers suck. You'll never see a good race team with them on either.
Great vid...and you work FAST! Thanks!
Can you make a video of the sound whit dB eater vs whitout?
Did you have to change the full exhaust or could you buy a clip on and have the same sound. I’m a total newb, so apologies if it’s a dumb question
I've also have that question
You can buy a slip on. The differenz to a full exhaust system is that the slip on doesnt improves the sound as much as the full system. I also used a slip on on my older bike and often that is enough sound improvement
Thanks
Do you feel like it gave the bike some extra Power?
Yes it feels heaps better to ride.
How did you remove the dB killer? Was it easy to remove? Thinking of putting this on my rebel 500.
Yes very easy, just one bolt
It's easy as, just one bolt, takes about 1 minute. Cheers.
Thanks! Sounds great and looks awesome on the bike
Thanks mate, all the best.
That’s awesome mate!!! Who did your conversion?
Mickle fab did the majority of the work, Cheers.
On which side is your front drive shaft, left or right?
Middle !
Rwd only??
No mate 4wd.
where did you buy it?
Ebay, Cheers
Thanks for sharing! I have been looking high and low for a exhaust system~ and u have just completed my mission 👍🏾 Great looks and great sounds, a complete system too! Did you buy this online? £? If u don’t mind me asking.
Yes, Ebay.
Hi ! Very interested by the same exhaust line. Does the bike work better than stock without any other upgrade ? (ie. Fuel injection setting)
Yes, no other upgrades required at all
Thanks ! Better response with the engine ? Better torque ?
Nice
Is this the only video on TH-cam with an Arrow exhaust on a Honda CMX 500?
Yes, we couldn't find any at all when we were looking at this system, this is why we have shared it.
Nick Mannell Thanks!
hello, you ask to put more videos of how your motorcycle is, it's very nice and I'm thinking of buying an equal
The best
Just to let everyone know if it hasn't already be said you should be using gloves when you put on an exhaust unless you wipe it off before you run it or the oils from your skin will be burnt onto the pipe and header forever
True, it does say that in the instructions, I didn't and didn't have any issues, but it would be better to be safe than sorry.
Yeah it says that on the instructions, I've never had a problem, but that's not to say someone else won't. Good advice.
Hey great vid!! Just wondering how it runs without a tune??
Perfect I've had no issues at all.
spelling much?
Thank Kriss, sorted now !
oi
i'm planning to get an exhaust for my grom sf...but i'm worried about the noise regulations in my country. the police can be a real pain in the ass when it comes to bikes. i see that you don't have to alter the bike in any way in order to put on that exhaust, which is great!! my dealership offered me tyga exhausts but you need to cut the rear fender in order to fit it in. did your yoshimura come with a db killer? have you measured its noise output? thnx for the response.
Yes it did come with a DB killer, it was extremely loud with out it. I have fitted it and have not been hassled at all. Cheers.
Hi mate, how certain are u that the rs2 works with the 2016 model? I have a 2016 and rly want this exhaust but official websites only advertise it for the 2017 model... thanks in advance!
Yes 100% the US 2017 model was released it mid 2016 in Australia, prior to that we didn't have any Groms at all. Enjoy
Hi Nick, thanks for your reply! my last question.... which you likely already answered in the video, can I pretty much order this anywhere and expect to install it off the box without buying any additional acc? brackets stuff etc. if you have any recommandation of where to buy/order that'd be great, I'm only aware of revzilla. I'm a newbie rider, and having some trouble with not stalling especially battling uphill on the takeoff, when i did my 2 day course for my Ls we were riding 300s which was easy ass for takeoff as just releasing the clutch would give it enough momentum QUICKLY to go off, my grom is struggling, more power obvously offers acceleration, do you feel a drastic increase in power with this exhaust? and any advice on any further mods to help my little problem (ofc I'll practice riding as much as I can in the mean time. Cheers! Thanks and enjoy Oz day :)
Yes you can get one anywhere, it does help free the bike up quite well. The other thing you can do is change the sprockets for better take off, but this will reduce top end speed. Cheers.
Hi Nick, anything to make take off easier i'm willing to tune for, I don't intend to ride over 80-85 km ish, and I'm fairly light weight. how much does "changing sprockets" cost? is it a lot of work? Thanks :)
You should be able to just change the front sprocket down one tooth, they are about $20 in Australia. Pretty easy job if you have the tools. Also this 2016 is the Australian bike which is the US 2017 model. We didn't previously have a Grom in Australia, I don't know where you are so hope this helps.
Where did you get that exhaust ? can you send me some website?
Ebay mate !
love the sound with that exhaust , hopefully that bike will be my first one , nice vid too ;)
Thanks, enjoy.
Sounds great hey !
awesome pipe . I paid 130 bucks for a bankok low mount.i think mine sounds chunkier......
Great mate, glad you are happy with your exhaust !
