this is the only one of these songs in this pack where I think the downgrade in how it was emulated gives it its own unique palatable sound

you just know the person who put this soundtrack knew this one hurt your ears to much and probably realized then and there the rest of the soundtrack they made is mess XD

It sounds like they took the pitches of the FM chip commands and map them to emulated PSG channels. Still better than the GBA version

Call me weird but I like the Dreamcast OST more than the Genesis version. And that goes for Sonic and Altered Beast too but I’m biased cuz I grew up off the Dreamcast version.

Dreamcast gave this soundtrack an overhaul. I've played all version, ps3, 360, x one, all sound like crap compared to dreamcast. Glad someone made this Playlist from best source.

I like to think this game was running multiple SMS emulators stacked on top of each other because SEGA didn't have the budget to design a Genesis emulator for the Dreamcast.
