Thank you! My "old man" has Addison's Disease, Osteoarthritis in the back end Tendinitis front elbows because of weakness in the back. I have him in swim therapy once a week. He has been on Gabapentin for 4 yrs. Steroids for Addison's. Lots of supplements. Feed him freeze dried fish formula from Carna4. Fish formula from Darwins. He wears a support for his embows. Bought him a stroller. Looking at buying non slip socks, and a harness to help him walk. Veterinarian is the traditional kind but slowly opening up to suggestions. He doesn't push anything on me cuz he knows I'll do my research first. My "old man" has had 3 Librela injections. Thay was earlier this year. I stopped them after his 3rd. He seemed weaker. And after reading on fbk group all the awful side effects. I stopped. Every 4 weeks he gets an Adequan injection. And every 8 weeks goes in for Addison's treatment. Is there more that I can be doing or i should stop doing?

Omg no joke this made my dog so gassy and he was farting non stop and I just game him 2 peanut butter dog treats I made with a lot of other healthy stuff for them(ask if yu want ingredients) so his farts where so smelly it was funny but this was the calmed he ever was but this put him to sleep thank you so much!❤

I tried this with my dog but he just wants belly rubs lol. Any time I do something a bit funky he starts gently nibbling me and showing his belly to remind me of my duties as his servant.

My dog is 14, has arthritis but is still fairly active, likes his walks but doesn't run like he used to. I massage him but never watched a video, so this was helpful. He does seem to enjoy it but doesn't lay still like your dog. Thank you.

I’m trying to get my puppy in the habit of letting me do this with him, especially his hips. We had two beagles with hip dysplasia. I’ve decided to start early and try to prevent some of these things. Right now, my puppy puts my hand in his mouth if I touch something ticklish. We’re a work in progress.

Do you turn them to do the other side?

I've just started doing this and my dog is super relaxed until I reach her back legs. Then she gets straight up and moves away from me. I guess this is a clear sign of discomfort/pain in this area but am not sure what to do - she has arthritis so it's not strange that she has some kind of pain but I'd obviously like to help ease it. Should I carry on trying with a super light touch in the back legs? Or avoid them? Thank you ❤

Dogs are more intelligent than people give them credit for. If the game is to easy for them they just gets bored. When my dog was just 3 months old I bought this game where they get the treats by opening small lids with their noses. It took her about 5 seconds to find all the treats. This game was marked level 2. Then I gave her a level 3 game that she struggled with for a couple of minutes before she had all the treats. Then I got her a level 4 game that is meant for smart dogs like border collies. What she did then surprised me. She threw it into the wall and opened the lids with brute force. In that way she got the treats even faster than on the level 3 game. My dog is a Dogue de Bordeaux and relative similar to Hootch from the movie. Still she is one of the most friendly dogs you can meet.🐶🤠
