I agree with you on the points you made. I've been playing PGR for about a year and what you mentioned are essentially all of the pros and cons of the game. It's an awesome game BUT there are some things that could be tweaked to make the experience better.

i just picked up pgr this month after falling in love with Wuthering Waves and i've been having a blast. though i do use whoever i want in gacha games regardless of rank/tier

But dont get me wrong i still oove this game and thunk its peak, im just salty about how difficult it is to catch up with tye meta or atleast get the newer characters who i want, i really don't like the playstyle of most of the Gen 1 characters apart from physical lucia and rigor

Can we talk about the fact that the game does have a meta, and it moves very fast, each new five star powercreeps the old one and normally by a lot, look at every gen 2 character, also why yeah the character you want is always available lets not forget this game is very funny with its rates for off weapon/character banners, how do i lose a 70% chance 3 times in a row, sire u can argue skill ossue but bruh really

I've been playing for almost a year now and i'm just loving this game, from the character design to the combat mechanics as well as the story even though i'm not really up to date. The game is also very generous which gives a waaay better experience than some other gachas.

Ah, great game... And now TH-cam recommending me this video tells me to get back in the game after quitting. I probably won't tho. New characters take too long to grind for. Story rewards you with breadcrumbs and you have to grind for like two weeks to get a character. idk, it's just not fun overall for me, not because of this. The animations are there, the story is there but freaking Snowbreak is more engaging and makes me want to play it every day over this gacha despite being way worse in many aspects. Probably because they give more stuff for free since they don't have a huge story you can grind and not many ways to get currency.

To me, this is the best action rpg in gacha games plus the most unique combat system. The gacha banners are game changing. It's crazy how good the gacha system is. The boss designs, the boss moveset, the end game contents. And of course, the company behind this is not greedy. I don't even know how the game still running even on how underrated it is. I hope more people will try this out.

My issue with the game is....something that many modern gacha games do: taking „convoluted“ features out for the sake of „streamlining“ the experience/making it more „accessable“ In my opinion, all that does is take the game‘s identity. Some people may remember but for a good time until bianca stigmata‘s patch there just wasn‘t the patch specific overspeed fights to enjoy boss fights. Or as mentioned in the vid, stuff like Apus, maze, old style babel(5 teams;1 fight each). Another aspect that I don‘t find to great is the very fast escalation in construct‘s abilities. Sure they became flashier and maybe more fun to use but in my humble opinion s and super armor(outside actual evades and signature moves) were a great mistake for this game. Those two abilities take the interaction between player and enemy and throw it out the window. The older babel fights came off as way harder because you couldn‘t just chain moves that made x construct invincible. I also don‘t like that some constructs can auto trigger matrix and sort the pings for you but that doesn‘t really change how the player and the boss interact at least. It‘s just, nowadays, and I do play CN too, I mainly wait for the new A ranks compared to the S ranks, because these characters usually don‘t have all these op abilities that make everything a cake walk. Other than these two points, Escalation and a small loss of previous identity, I still love the game. I played since day 3 global on the EU server and on CN since Feral 21 and I don‘t plan on stopping anytime soon. Especially because the story is still good, I hope the writers can land the finale whenever that comes around....and don‘t pull a Hi3 where the part 1 finale is....very controversial

Yea the other sound tracks are nice…but where tf is “initialize!!??” I took a break from. The game 7months after it came out. Returned a few months later and it was gone!! Where is it!!?? It would be my lobby track till eos or till i die!!

see, the only major (if it was even that big of a deal) problem was the occasional typo, shortened patch duration ( which i am personally fine by as it is) and the not so open handed community (i personally never asked around about this,i simply play for looks and gameplay, meta consideration is there but its that little), but do you want to know in my personal experience what is the biggest pros on PGR? the storage efficiency, each update is the same as deleting unused asset and replace it with new one, because of this absolute power decision, the storage of pgr at average will stay around 20, and thats decent enough, not too small and not too big either, unlike certain game....

I personally prefer playing my favorite character rather than following the current meta, i like the leap feature but kinda suck since it's only available in some character

This video was recommended to me randomly and I decided to watch it. I've never played PG:R and I've no interest in doing so, but the editing style and general quality of the video was really really good and kept me hooked until the end. Awesome work

A very good video! I really enjoyed it. I'm glad to see players that use A rank characters. I don't get how people get upset just because I don't wanna use Stigmata as my DPS on my physical team. Discreditting characters just because they're not the absolute best at something really sets me on the edge cause it disappointed me that players get pushed to get the same one team for each element while the only difference we can see is when a better character comes out. I've been watching your content for 4 months now and I really like your takes and how you see this game. Your guides are absolutely the best since I rarely see anyone talking about character alternatives in youtube guides and theyre much more easy to digest.

· Why didn't you use Plume? - I have her at SS rank with 5★ weapon, and her overall performance is pretty bad, so I had to swap her to Wanshi (all I lose is QTE buff). · Why didn't you use Ayla solo? - It would've taken too much time, so I decided to showcase not so much her alone, but rather her effectiveness when sortied with very F2P-ish characters. · Where are Madorea and Hamlet? - I've been waiting for so long for them to show up in a doable (for me) PPC rotation, but nah. Would have probably earned ~300k pts from each. · Where are more challenging bosses, for example, Moon Eater? - Bosses with enormous amounts of HP should be defeated by corresponding element damage; otherwise, it will look pretty pathetic. (It seems like ME battle wasn't recorded, and I completely missed that, which is just awesome. Anyway, it took 34 seconds.) · Why is Chrome without his signature weapon? - I was thinking about getting one, but overall, it would've done little to increase my Ice team's performance (in terms of PPC/WZ competition). Moreover, it looks like it is better to start saving for another Ice Tank. · Why do you rarely use Ayla's double rotations in trial bosses? - Based on my tests, one complete rotation gives more profit than a double (albeit by a very small amount). Bianca: Stigmata and Alpha: Crimson Weave. At most, I plan to SS Crimson Weave with her Sig, Nightblaze and her C.U.B, Motorbolt. I hope you enjoy doing what you do! Just remember, meta doesn't matter. It's a choice. Nobody can stop you from rejecting that choice, instead, choosing to embrace whichever characters you enjoy. GG. You have my respect. Play the game however you want to. She's a strong character and can carry your account. Just like with new players jumping into the game for the 1st time in the Alpha Crimson Weave update, you will be able to farm more BC again from scratch. It's not a big deal like people make it out to be. Knowing you have a perfected version of your favorite character (especially as f2p) is an amazing feeling to have. GG.
