I made it five months ago, but I remembered you must unplug another conector before. It would be the screen plug, sorry I don't remember, but it was easy to see and remove.
the opening process was really hard, lots of broken glass. managed to do it! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! btw T-7000 is the glue i will use to stick the new LCD panel into

@@lukastram4990 Thank you! I took my tablet to a repair center and they said it is a battery issue, but my tablet got bricked during an update and is death since then. I don't think is a battery issue :/
@@lukastram4990 In fact, I recently connected the tablet to the PC, and it made the usual sound you hear when a device is plugged in. I tried to rescue the tablet using Lenovo Rescue, but it crashed. It indicates that the tablet is on, but the screen remains off, and there is no sign of the battery charging on the screen.

Put the same flex of the original screen it's important? I mean , I just bought a screen from China and I installed the new screen but it's doesn't work properly the touch is crazy and do involuntary clicks and I don't know what should I do. Nice video❤
Which model do you have? I’m trying to get a replacement for my 616, but on AliExpress the frame included it’s for 606
Did the screen work with stylus pen after the repair? Mine did not.
i saw in another video someone suggested the connection was loose, the guy checked it and his pen started to work.
Finally replaced my screen. Can confirm if the Wacom sub board connection isn't good the stylus won't work. I accidentally popped out the grey tab on the connector and lost it, so I had to use the board from my wifi virsion I have for parts.

good question... i got rid of the old glue with Isopropyl Alkohol, but will have to dig internet what i can glue the screen on again...

Easy peasy. Buy one with the frame , it clicks right in place. no hassle with glueing it back and you can get the old screen+frame off way easier.
On AliExpress the one with the frame says it’s for 606, it’s compatible with the 616?

Basically you need a good blower, some pray tools and a small philips screw driver and to make it more easy it's recommended to use 98% alcohol.

Hi, Is that occur after screen replacement? If so, check out that proximity sensor is not covered or dirty with some glue leftovers, or damaged on the process of disassembling the screen.

@@maryjeangomezlindstroem9148 WOW sorry to hear that. Is it still have warranty? Maybe try to call customer service on your area. Opening the phone may cancel the manufacturer warranty.
@@tablets-pc Forget contacting UMIDIGI my bison 2 had a faulty touchscreen when I got it. I tried contacting UMIDIGI and the only response I got was a funny face reply. I tried several times to contact again and got ignored. There service sucks big time and I won,t be buying again.
Why did u re-attach the broken screen at about 11 minutes in?
For the reason to make sure nothing was damaged, like the LCD flat cable or backlight IC and to ensure not making any damages to the new screen.
What glue do you use to glue the screen?
Yes I'd like to know which adhesive and also where to buy the screen. My display is fine, just have a lot of ghost touches, hopefully it's the digitizer.

i managed to glue it with T-7000, holds perfectly
@@12jakemate had nearly same issue - no touch at all - it's the small cable - readjusted it now serveral times and it works all. afterwards it got the glue onto the screen

Hi, You can disassemble the screen by warming it up as you can see on my video. Be careful when you pull up the screen to make sure you not damage the flat cable connecting the screen to the motherboard, pull it slowly and tilt to 90 degree so you can unscrew the plate covering the flat cable connector on the motherboard.
Dear friend, Sorry for the late reply. You can replace it on your own if you have a blower, just follow the steps on my video to make sure you are not doing any damages to the LCD flat cable connected to the motherboard. Good luck 👍

i purchased mine from Amazon, was 50 € more expensive then i would have done it from Aliexpress. Was in perfect condition, sadly no glue with it. will have to find out where to get it.
