I agree, building strength in fingers is important so a good warm up is starting on the first string first fret first finger then work your way up to fourth fret first string fourth finger then repeat that on second string, third string , all the way down to 6th string fourth fret. Good luck 😊

Use all those fingers, you’ll regret it if you don’t. Maybe work on having the thumb towards the middle? Thumb position isn’t AS important as using all your fingers, but it helps. I strongly recommend getting Yousician too, and getting the free trial. That’s what I started on. After that runs out, if you don’t want to pay the rest, just find one song with tabs on TH-cam you want to learn and just focus on that. Yousician probably is still good if you only use the free songs though.

Great progress! Only thing I wanna say is please please please get into the habit of using your pinkie finger for the fourth fret on your fretting hand. I had the same habit of using my ring finger for many years and it’s coming back to bite me now that I’m branching out to other style of music like classical and metal guitar.

The first two books are pretty big. I pulled a big book out of my TBR Jar as well but I only picked three books for August. x.x I don't read that fast or get much time to read so I have to really limit myself if I want to complete them. I like your set up though. Using numbers. I was considering doing that for September, October, and November for my fall, horror, and thriller books.
