Honey Bees vs Yellow Jackets
We have had a yellow jacket nest about ten feet away from our bee hive for a little bit now and once I witnessed this, I knew it was time to take action. Thankful for a strong bee colony that was able to defend themselves but for their safety, and for mine, the yellow jackets had to go.

How Siphon Tubes Help with Maple Syrup
มุมมอง 6507 หลายเดือนก่อน
I’ve received a few questions about these DIY siphon tubes so I figured I’d show exactly how they work but using water instead of sap. I used these in my last batch and I only filled one pan from my pre-heater, yet both pans remained at the same level and very close temperature for the entire cook. Highly recommended if you have two pans like this on a barrel stove. Also, no concerns regarding ...

Rock Island Armory Lever-Action .410 - Review
The zinc on galvanized metal can be toxic. Don't "breath in" for the first few burns..... until the coating is burned off. (You can see the shinyness burn off) The ratios given are very loose guidelines and can vary quite a bit. For example, here he would be served by placing a 10 inch terra cotta square "chimney liner piece" (or something similar) over where the sticks go in when he is not adding sticks. Getting more air moving downward "in a tube" will actually help the draft and it will prevent smoke from coming back into the room. He need way more height on where the sticks are added, or the lower part of the J, should be higher. Also, the riser should be very close to the top of the can or barrel... just 1.5 to 2 inches away. Deciding on a bit more space... hurts draft. Yes... allowing more room.... actually hurts. Of course, getting too close can choke it off and that's even worse.
I like it. You can get both duty and carry for the price of a Prodigy or both with a case or two of ammo for the same price as the cheapest staccato. I have some experience with Tisas. I haven't been disappointed.
Cool build! Using this a starting point for my own filter. Whats the reason for cutting off the bottom of the upper pot? Could you just drill holes directly into the upper pot?
@@jamesgross7874 yes you could do that though it might be slower.
I have an sig emperor scorpion that I haven’t shot in a while and the factory trigger pull it so light I shot before I was ready. I definitely want a heavier pull
Try the Enigma Holster.
I’ve got a little over 600 rounds thru my Duty DS 9. I too paid $750 for mine but have no regrets. I also put a 407k on mine and I have many TLR-1 lights already. Had just a couple ftf’s early on but it’s been great since. Yes Tisas did not mill the angle properly into the slide. My 407k was almost maxed out on its elevation adjustment but thankfully it had enough. I also took the finish off the 407k when I tapped it all the way down into position, but you can’t see it. My irons also shoot low which seems to be another common complaint with owners. Even with the 6 moa dot on the 407k I can hit a steel plate 8 out of 10 times at 120 yards. A very accurate, reliable and fun pistol. I will probably just get another 2 or 3 of the Tisas factory mags. Also a Talon grip for the prodigy fits our Tisas perfectly from all the research and videos I’ve seen. So I’ll probably just go with that cheaper grip option for my budget pistol.

While the torch was probably a little overkill, it wasn't because it involved killing wasps. 😉
Are you gonna sell syrup and honey? Glad the honeybees taught the yellow jacket a lesson.
@@americandude3825 I am sure we will have some surplus honey that will be available…I’m sure I know a guy that will accept a care package, haha.

Got the Carry model comin in! Cant wait!
You should enjoy it! Heard good things about the Carry model as well. So long as you aren't expecting a Staccato, then it's a great buy.
@@theprofessionalamerican Wouldnt even be able to compare. I’ve never even held much less shot a staccato! I plan to do a 3 part video once I get it in. Check back in a week or so if you would like to watch. Maybe I’ll have Pt.1 up!
@@DesertTactical Same! Have never held one but wouldn't mind one day. If you need anything for your videos, let me know! Looking forward to them.
@@theprofessionalamerican thank you so much! Subbed btw. A buddy has a Staccato and a Prodigy and we are gonna review all three. Both shoot all 3 running the same drills. That would be an epic video.
@@DesertTactical for sure would be. Just make sure the extractor is tuned first to make it fair. That’s honestly the only issue I’d see out of the box. That’s not just a Tisas issue to my knowledge.
I cant stand a extra thumb button safety, hammer down is safety. I thought the CYN choke was for slugs, shooting slugs with no choke might damage choke threads...... I have single shot 410, just started using on skeet, so far having really good luck on 3", 2-1/2 seems to work good to. You should try yours on skeet shooting so I can tell if I want one or not, I want a 410 that has more then one shot..... I use to 12 ga when young like you, then 20 ga, but as I get older I'm liking 410 even more because of very little kick. Your daughter might have more fun shooting skeet, good video.........
The 455 is a better saw for that saw size. Better in vibration and with decompression valve for easier starts.
Just inherited a 1981 gold cup. Really love the 1911 platform, but dont really want to alter this colt. Tisas looks like the route ill go to play. Thanks for the content. Subscribing now.

Still needs proper disinfection if drinking though right? Like rolling boil for one minute.
@@americandude3825 oh yeah, for drinking it needs more but to keep algae from growing in the barrel and turning it funky, this appears to be working.

Give a Safariland ALS with the prep for a 1911 with a X300 weapon light a try. It’s a retention holster, but it should do the job. It did on one I used several years back. Hopefully this is useful to you.
What the hell. No traditional safety. LOL Never was one on a lever gun until idiot lawyers got involved.
Great video. I have the Para Colonel 14.45 LDA, made in 2005 and 06, 4.25 barrel. Sarco has a ton of Para parts
Awesome review! Thank you!!
nice father and daughter team
Awesome. On the 3rd shot of the first session when she was prone, the buttsock slipped below her shoulder and almost scoped her eye. If she shoots prone, have a sandbag Under the gun.
Any 1911 holster should work as the grip is not engaged in the holster.
You would think so but that is not the case. There is enough of a flare prior to the actual grip that doesn't allow it to seat properly.
@@theprofessionalamerican perhaps you could warm the kydex in the oven or with a hairdryer until it fits.
@@PD-we8vf hadn’t thought of that so I might have to give it a try.

Hey there! Just confirming I am a subscriber! I have not seen this video yet, but I will watch it right now driving back after church:)
Great job, your daughter can shoot quite well. for sure from the prone position no bipod.
Have you tried tuning the carb with a tach?
The bigger dogs are also the same as OEM, just a matter of preference. I have a Husqvarna 372XP x torq that came with the large ones and I have a Farmertec, both with the larger dogs. I run 28 inch bars and for bucking up big logs nothing is better than the large ones. My farmertec also came with the small set.
Excited for ya man. Don’t know where yall are or what the date of capture was but in central ky the flow is almost over You may need to feed them to draw alot of that out for you. Don’t let them starve just in the name of natural beekeeping
My wife is this jealous right now 👉🏻infinity that direction

I'm a Stihl fan pretty much, so I don't know much about Husky saws. But that clone seems to be running pretty good and I like the way you a changing out any parts that are for sure going to be an issue with OEM parts. I haven't looked up the CCs of that saw but it seems to run alot like the Stihl ms361 I use to have and I loved that saw. It was 60 CC range of saw. I put a 25inch bar on mine and I loved the skip tooth chain on it. I think it was better at clearing chips or noodles and cause less drag when cutting through big wood. The one the one thing I would mention is that the chain will never be as sharp as it is brand new and sharpening an unused chain is not going likely to ever make a new unused chain cut better. I would use the new chain as is till it dulled a bit before sharpening it to your preferences if I were you in the future. Great video. I really like your positioning of the camera and your editing. Great job. 😎👍
Thank you for watching and the comment! So Husqvarna makes it simple: a 372 is a 72cc saw. Holzfforma also makes Stihl clones too if you need another saw in your life…who doesn’t?
@@theprofessionalamerican lol I just bought the G111 clone of the Stihl ms200t a top handle saw a bit ago and I'm waiting for it to be delivered later this month. I use to have that Stihl saw and loved it. But im just buying this clone because I enjoy cutting with the Stihl Ms200t, but the OEM saw is just too expensive even used. Besides I have no need for a chainsaw these days, so even if I had the money, paying that high price for a used OEM saw doesn't make sense to do. Lol
West Coast dogs..... I run them but run 24 inch bar ....I have the pro farmtec 372 with 118 tanks no issues yet.....I muffler modded mine in house I have a fab shop so tig welding larger tip in was easy..... Cool video..I enjoy it.
one tip i would give you while working on or around pavement/cement, when setting the saw down while running, it really takes a toll on the bottom of the saw at idle on hard surfaces, soo much so it will even wear into the tank on some saws over the years!
You just shut your friend good job HA perfectly said
I dunno, that 55 doesnt seem like its running right. My 55 is old and beat up, but does not struggle like that one does. Wondering exactly what piston/ cylinder that kid used? I'm guessing it wasnt OEM. I'd take the 55 any day, simply because injection molded plastic crank cases give me hives.
Well they both sound like there struggling.
Just bought one to run a 24 inch full chisel chain looks sweet man stoked to run it
Enjoy it! I’m still loving it. I just recommend putting an OEM carb on it and it’ll rock.
does it have any mag extension accessories?
Meaning longer mag? Not sure what you mean but I will say that accessories for this specific model are pretty much none.
