We had the same problem with ours and all we had to do is remove the cover (unscrew the bottom part first) and blow some air, probably there's some dirt or something obstructing the slider. It's an easy fix.

We had the same problem with ours and all we had to do is remove the cover (unscrew the bottom part first) and blow some air, probably there's some dirt or something obstructing the slider. It's an easy fix. No skill or knowledge required.
@@Mitutoyo_no1 Also others have these skills. Normally it is only some adjustments in the Encoder Electronics. Everyone can do this at home, no special skills required.
