Nathan Fillion almost seemed a little shy at the start and then quickly relaxed once he realized how easy going and how much of a goofball Craig is. I've never seen Fillion seem even the slightest bit shy before

Sooo beautiful! Robbie and Cecilia's chemistry was off the chart and I was rooting for them, fuck birony hated her so much she destroyed lives, honestly while watching the movie If I was her I would've felt so guilty that I end up killing myself I couldn't live knowing what I've done

For me...this movie deserves a 9/10. Don't watch the trailer. Just go and watch the movie. It was... I have no words. James McAvoy and Keira Knightley played their part until they almost touched perfection, in my opinion. And the story is mindblowing...I even cried a little and had a...what the hell... I STILL HAVE a grudge on Briony. (I don't know if expressed myself right).

BRIONY, I don't know what "final act of kindness" bs she was talking about. And the nerve to be a succesful author and use their lives for your book. F**K YOU and F**K people like you.

This story is legitimately the saddest love tale ever written. It stayed with me for months after reading the book/seeing the movie

I hated Briony so much, she robbed two people of a life of love. She destroyed lives.

I don't feel sorry for Briony. She had an opportunity to atone for her sin & she chose not to because as she said she was "too much of a coward". Now decades later, after everyone has died & there is no one to shame or chastise her she confesses through her book. Her confession feels contrived & it makes me wonder had she not developed dementia would she had even publicized her "book of confessions"? No....I do not think so.

my theory is even if Briony had not came forward with her account. Robbie nevertheless would still have had to join the war. Their relationship would have developed more natural then again who can say

Now I'm getting the picture about why Firefly ended after one season. This was his FIRST talk show ever, and it was after Firefly and Serenity. The network just didn't know how to promote the show. So sad.

So that when her Executioner finally arrived in the form of encroaching Alzheimers, it was a relief 2 @ last b able 2 4GET what she had NOT done = atoned!

- not strictly speaking; the problem was, that she DIDN'T atone! So whole sequences of the movie are devoted to her fantasies about how things would've been better IF she had. The fact that she made a mistake (as a girl on the brink of womanhood, confused by conflicting & vengeful emotions=acting under pressure of those in a few foolish moments) wasn't the defining moment of her life - but b/c she DIDN'T DO what she COULD have done to rectify that 1 mistake AFTER it was made, WHEN she could have

Cecilia and Robert were meant to be with each other, but Cecilia's younger sister just ruined both her sister's and Robert's lives, also causing them to be killed (they served the war because of her). You see, this movie teaches us a great lesson about guilt. Tell the truth, and you will not have to face the guilt, like Cecilia's younger sister did her whole life, even as an older woman (showing in the last scene). Tell the truth.
