And now youngsters have become aware of it and are planning to settle abroad after +2 or even SEE. We can, in no way or form blame literal kids for taking such radical decisions. 1. Doctors are humans just like everybody else. Please stop stereotyping them as “god like” figures. They are just doing their jobs. 2. Pay them good. Just like you pay for a good brand of shoes. Do not compare them with other profession. If you want good health of your family and yourself, just pay them. Whoever can pay, they should pay them just like they pay for their Tesla car. Everybody can’t afford to pay, in that case, the government should fund their salary and incentives. There is no other choice. 3. Open enough post graduate seats and specialty training. It could be at already established big hospitals in the cities, such as Grande, Mediciti where you get all the equipment to train and the faculty to monitor and teach. The sevice provided by the training specialists will be minimal and good quality. Pay the residents enough. 4. Open jobs of clinical coordinator who will coordinate doctors about patient care. Pay clinical coordinators too. They are like personal assistants who facilitate patient care. We have PA for government officials and administration individuals only, we need these people to work with individual doctors. 5. Stop appointing politically affiliated people in hospitals. They belong to political parties, not hospitals. 6. Don’t focus on individual doctor’s mistakes on errors regarding patient care. It’s a system fault, not doctors or other individual personnel of the hospital. Try to focus on the overall system. 7. Stop complaining why doctors are leaving Nepal. Emotions do not stop them. Opportunities will. 8. Lastly, focus on the bigger picture. Focus on the system. Appoint educated leaders, atleast in the ministry of health or education. Actually, we need educated leaders in all ministries 😊. Co-ordinate with how administrations are run in 5-star hotels. Work on the balance between profit and service. PS: to the host. May be do an interview between a leader of a hospital (probably Dr Arjun Karki at Patan Academy), director of Karnali Academy and the CEO of a 5-star hotel in Kathmandu and another from remote Namche.

Nepal govt give them free education at IOM and send them abroad , isn’t it funny ????!!

The only way to make enough money is to join a political party in Nepal. They are the ones enjoying the fruit of success from the hard-working public.

Nurse lai line marni ra bhau badi khojni matra hunn Nepal ka doctor. Koi highly skilled qualified chan limited only natra Nepal ma naam ka matra doctor chan. Ghar ko saan badhauna lai paisa ko aadh ma doctor padheka. Bidesh ma gayera ni nurse le garni kaam ho garni ya fir bhada majni hunn. Maile dherai hospital dhayeko chu ra Nepal ka doctor ra nurse ko aaukaat ni ramro sanga tha cha. Not every doctor is qualified and skilled in Nepal. Only limited ones. Purai medical education free huna parcha ra quota system hatauna parcha. Only merit based huna parcha. Jati sukai quota ra facility rakhe pani +2 samma simit garna parcha.

Some Dr are also involved in corruption and crime to make money because of this public losses confidence on Dr. Dr need to stand up for their ethics which is rare nowadays. Dr becomes puppet of investors and politicians in Nepal. Need to do some real research on issues and reality .Dr are not necessarily respected overseas they are just job holders like any professional . Nepali do respect Dr more than they deserve even when they blackmail their patients families in different way . Emotional blackmail and fake diagnosis have become common practice to cover greedy admin expenses in Nepal please do some real investigates in these issues . 2024 we need to be clear Dr are not god they are also trained skill worker like any professional. Dr can go to western countries and become financial slave like everyone but need to open there eyes with this delusion that they are privileged than general human beings.

Doctors and engineers cannot survive in Nepal with the salaries they get after spending tough more than six years of study. So brain drain is better than brain in the drain.
