Midtown Madness 2 - Racing 101 (EREC - City Bus - 1st)
It is possible to beat (or I guess tie??) Racing 101 with the City Bus...if you get very lucky with how the 1st and 2nd place Beetles interact heading into the only turn of the course.

Could have been a little better - I'm especially annoyed about costing myself a few mph by hitting the wall on the final straight. Maybe 48.xx is possible.

This is not a speedrun category, this is simply a request that I got from Tanmay Railkar on my River Dancing (Nitro) PB here: th-cam.com/video/PERvKl7dyfA/w-d-xo.html. This one is very very close to not being completable without pausing the clock. You cannot make the jump with the rear of the fire engine attached, so you need to ditch it. Hey! Yes, this has been approved as an official category. In terms of MM1, I'm a bit busy with other projects and speedruns right now, but I'd consider speedrunning MM1. I've never played it though, so it would take me a while to jump in and be competitive I think.

god so slow and missed about 20 seconds of track jumps on e1
You're right, I could've shaved off about a total of 40 seconds on E1 alone. This was my first attempt at the run in order to get the game approved on Speedrun.com. Awesome gameplay! I'm not sure if this game works on Windows 10.
I did this run on Windows 10, actually! It's difficult to set up but it is fully functional using a tool called dgvoodoo.

Sorryy, I have just checked and it is possible as long as you are playing as an amateur and not as a pro :D. Btw, Midtown Madness is a nice car game during this pandemic, isn't it? ^^
@@arturochavezmogollon4869 Yea, we typically speedrun the game on Amateur mode so that traffic is less of an issue haha. It really is a nice game during the pandemic :D.
Good work man, what bike did you use?
I used the 'Generic 600' bike that you have access to at the beginning of Pro-Circuit and I never switched bikes. I've started setting times on the individual level runs of the game, and I think the 500cc bikes might actually be quicker than the 600s.
@@AutomanEmpireTimeAttack 600 is a 4 stroke while 500 is 2 stroke 2 strokes are better at processing gas so it will be faster than the 600
