My little Panasonic boombox. It plays the original mc tape from 3rd Bass the 1990' cactus album, the song "product of the environment". I bought the tape recorder 2 years ago on a garage sale it is visually in very good shape. The sound of the 2-way system is extremely good, especially the switchable Wide effect I like. My old friend, the M70. Much power, low bass, for me first place everytime. Recorded on my BASF tape around 1987 by my buddy's record. What a cool music back then! And the record cover was and is a classic. Have you considered how it looks with an mp3?!?

My nice Crown, it's a cool Ghettoblaster from the 80's, Beastie Boys - Brass Monkey my tape from the late 80s still runs faithfully in the old 950 Crown.

Aus meiner Sammlung, ein großer Doppeldeck-Recorder, der Sankei TCR-S90. Ein Modell welches von vielen anderen Herstellern vertrieben wurde. I bought one of these new in 1983 or so when I was 13, sold it late 1980's for a piece of junk Sharp. Found a mint one in same black colour on Ebay including the Box! Love it

Yes, that's how it works! (with the chord selection keys) The chord selection keys are divided into two major parts, the root keys and the variation keys. By combining these two keys, various chords become easy to play. Major chords can be played with a press of root key only.

Just to let you know I own this since 1988 when I was a little kid. and it's still running...Made in Japan. I once amplified this and played in a 800 plus auditorium as well. My father bought this with 800 indian rupees in those times

That Sankei TCR-S90 of yours looks interesting. And that portable stereo of yours looks like it is in pristine condition. Your version of that boombox (or "ghettoblaster") has a longwave (LW) band in lieu of a second shortwave (SW) band. That is one way that people can tell that your version is the European-market version of that Sankei model. (If your 'S90 only operates on 220-volt current electricity, that is a more decisive sign of that model's originally "Europe only" export market.) I would prefer a version with two shortwave bands: SW1 and SW2. That sort of radio tuner is more practical in the United States of America. (That is, for those wishing to tune what is probably evangelical programming on shortwave.) Anyway, I wonder if the recording deck (Deck 2) of your Sankei TCR-S90 works. We see and hear you playing part of that "Styme's Theme" audiocassette on Deck 1. The music sounds loud and clear when your ghettoblaster plays it. (And the resolution of your TH-cam videos seems to be excellent.) But we don't see you using Deck 2 at all. Does Deck2 work? Is there another video clip on TH-cam where we can see you using Deck 2 of this Sankei to play audiotapes and maybe even record with them?
Hello and thanks for your comments! Unfortunately, the recorder is sold, but it all worked, including the recording! The Sankei but I have also completely revised, he was not fully functional. It was sold in Germany, it was the 220 V version. The glass in front of the tuning area I have cleared with a special acrylic cleaner from the yellow shimmer. See you later
